Matrimonial Ambitions

She went through childhood envisioning herself as a bride. Every morning she stared into the looking glass trying to envision herself standing before the minister and staring into the eyes of her life long partner.

Julia puttered about fixing her hair, turning her head side to side with pretty combs propping up her rich auburn curls. Sometimes she'd grab a bouquet of Mother's fresh flowers and posed in front of the mirror as though looking at a camera.

There hasn't been even one eligible bachelor cross her mind as the candidate for her heart until Maxwell dropped by the house yesterday to visit her brother, Nathan. Suddenly, Julia has the beginning sparks of matrimonial ambitions.
