Secret coffee spot by a river in Saraburi, Thailand

Coffee, sweet and nature all in one!

Yup! We're still in Sao Hai District, Saraburi province. Continue from our last post, to get here is about 10 minute drive. To get to LaoVien Cafe & Eatery ลาวเวียงคาเฟ่ doesn't seem so far away but it's quite a drive as we actually needed to get through a really small road to get the the riverside. I wouldn't think there would be any cafe or anything there except for people's houses if my uncle who's a local there didn't bring me there. As mention, it's almost like a 'secret coffee spot' there.

Once get to the place, I was quite wowed as it's quite pretty and spacious. Most importantly, it's just by the river which pretty quiet and chill. That's probably my most favorite thing about the place. Totally a good spot to come meet up and hang out with family and friends or just to come alone with your laptop and work for a few hours would be just great.

LaoVien Cafe & Eatery ลาวเวียงคาเฟ่ serves both food and drinks. We just had food from the Pad Thai place I have shared in my last post so here, we just had a few sweets and drinks.

Macarons & Nama Chocolate

Couldn't help myself ordering these 2 of my favorites. If I'm honest with you here, I think the macaron was just alright. I have tried ones much better. This one seems like they didn't cook the macaron correctly as it crumbled almost right when I take a bit. It's supposed to be a little crispy out and soft from the inside I assume.

The Nama chocolate on the other hand is pretty good. Very chocolaty, soft and smooth like fresh chocolate supposed to be. Wait, for those who don't know what Nama chocolate is, Nama in Japanese means 'raw'. So Nama chocolate is a type of ganache, which is made from a mix of melted cacao and fresh cream.

As for the drinks, somehow we got cold chocolate and mocha. Pretty good and even better sipping it by the river.

A pretty chill spot by a river. I would say it's somewhat 'secret' as it's hidden in the middle of nowhere. There are spots for you to sit and work, to nap or just to hang out with your beloved ones. I quite like how it's surrounded by the nature as well so, totally recommend you come visit if you're ever in the area.
