Doubling down on silver as a hedge againt the inflation tsunami.

One of the best things about being part of the #silvergoldstackers community here on hive, is the fact that when it comes to silver and gold, theres no better place to be for information, guidance and most importantly BARGAINS.

We've been a community here on the blockchain for the best part of 5yrs now, and luckily for me, I was around to witness the communities birth, long before "communities" become a thing on the chain.

Unless youve been living under a rock these past few months, youll have noticed the crazy price increases effecting every aspect of daily life. This my friends is the elephant in the room global government refuse to fully address, and its called.... INFLATION

while many see cryptocurrency as a dream hedge against inflation, I still believe the shiny metals to be one of the safest ways to transfer wealth through to the next paradigm.

When it comes to buying silver and gold, theses usually a memeber willing to liquidate some of their stash, that can sort you out a good deal. And this is exactly what has happened when i reached out to a good friend, @goldrooster, in our discord channel.

I bought around $400 of the shiny silver metal, and while this may seem like a lot of money, I believe I got a very good deal. We settled on a price of $20 an ounce, and i asked him to send my a mixed bag of 20 coin.

In the collection I recieved, were these incredibly eye-catching little coins(yes they are coins, not bars). I already havw a few of these 2019 "Dragon" coins in my collection, but not as many as id like, so i was very pleased when i unwraped them. The rectangular bar containing 1oz of fine silver (.9999) is produced by Perth Mint. The coin is limited to a production of 500,000 units and as such will be an unusual piece for investors and collectors.
