I cant stress the importance of a diverse and varied portfolio of investments.... Its no secret that im a big gold and silver stacker, but I also make sure that i can benefit from all kinds of markets, and make sure i expose myself to more than just physical assets.

Im a big lover of cryptocurrencies, and have a well researched and thought out pot of the most trusted coins as well as a few longshots. But still, its best to diversify even further.

Ive been dabbling in the stock market as of late, after being referred by a trusted acquaintance, to a very easily navagatable app called FREETRADE.

So while this blog is about the importance of diversification in a balanced portfolio, its also a self plug to try and get a few referrals to sign up using my link: HERE

Ive been very fortunate, or is it that ive just done a lot of research before investing, but since i signed up and started investing, my portfolio has increased by 26.1%

Ive stuck to what i know best, as stocks can be a bit of a minefield..... So i purchased a few silver Mining stocks, and a few smaller health technology companies.

I dont think you can go wrong in these crazy times with thise two choices. Theyre almost like complete opposites, but have both done me well this past month.

Silver mining stocks are a great investment in times of uncertainty. During periods of inflation/hyper-inflation/shrink-flation when precious metal prices jump by 20-50%, the companies mining them can see a 100-200% rise in their valuations. So im hedging my bets and not holding physical silver, but owning a share of the companies that mined it.

I work for the NHS, and during a "pandemic" when new technologies and vaccines (**cough) are being developed on what deels like a weekly basis, having a few shares of pharmaceutical companies felt like a good idea too.

Ive never claimed to be a smart investor, but i always make sure i do my own due diligence when buying stocks and shares, but if there are any seasoned professionals out there that want to lay some words of advice down, or possible the "next big thing" to go to the moon, rhen please feel free to share whats in your basket of stocks.

If like me youve been very apprehensive and only recently decided to take the plunge in to the stock market, then i cant recommend highly enough this app. Its simple to understand, fully regulated, safe and gives you total control over your portfolio.

PLUS UNTILL DECEMBER 14TH, THE NEXT 5 PEOPPE THAT SIGN UP AND DEPOSIT ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY, WILL RECEIVE A FREE RANDOM £10 STOCK(UK residents only)

So whilst the crypto-sphere has a little reset before shooting off to the moon, take a moment to think about spreading your investments out a little...... Just in case we dont see a recovery of cryptos, and enter the next bear market cycle.

ILL LEAVE MY REFERRAL LINK HERE AND HOPEFULLY WE CAN BOTH SHARE IN SOME GOOD TIMES

Diversification is always good, unless you have one of the foolproof crystal balls. I have a lot of bags from the crypto boom of 2017 when I day traded quite a bit. Just recently I was happy to capture quite a profit on MANA (Decentraland).
I have a few stocks on my Ameritrade account but I'm not savvy at all on the stock market and prefer to deal in crypto. Due diligence is always a requirement, but even things that sound and look good don't pan out.
I am thinking about gold/silver stacking but don't really know what to start with, My only "collection" so far is an American Eagle silver dollar from 1986 - bought new upon the birth of my first son. It's sitting by its lonely self in my bank deposit box. I think it needs some company...

In the beginning it's how I saw Crypto as complimentary to Precious metals as an asset class with similar objective(s). I understand different forms of silver play different roles, since Hive I've learned how different Cryptos have different objectives and functions in themselves and not just a currency.
