The 2022 annual set has arrived: May be a good investment

The official 2022 annual coin set was released this morning at 9am, which was about twelve hours ago from now.

The new 2022 Annual Sets continue the tradition of celebrating British history with five more specially selected commemorative coins. From the Dame Vera Lynn inspired portrait, the simple but effective representation of Alexander Graham Bells telephone inventions, to the return of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and including the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen, the 2022 Annual Sets pay tribute to the iconic individuals of yesteryear and the unforgettable events making history in 2022.

There I was like an idiot, waiting my turn to like a good little boy, for a chance to pick up one of these little sets. Now i dont usually go for these Annual sets, but i have a feeling this might be a special one....

You see, Elizabeth II A.K.A. the Queen, isnt for off shuffling off this mortal coil, on to pastures new. This would technically make this colectors set the last set to feature her image. When it comes to investments, the ones that appreciate the most are the first and last coins of a monarchs reign. So if she does "pop her cloggs" this year, then it could be a good little earner.

These first two coins are commemorating the queens Platinum Jubilee. As an extra bonus, snd a potential financial extra, this os the first 50 pence (50p) coin to celebrate a royal occasion.

Next up is this commemorative 50p, celebrating the 2022 commonwealth games to be heldnin Birmingham.

In 1876, Alexander Graham Bell help revolutionise communication by developing a functioning phone. His achievement is commemorated on this £2 coin.

Dame Vera Lynn qas the armed forces sweetheart, and raised the moral of soldiers throughout WW2. Her achievements and service is celebrated on this coin.
