If the future of work has changed, why have our educational institutions refused to change?

It's sad, really sad, that year after year, our schools keep churning out graduates who are not ready for workplace tasks. Students who are unaware of the challenges that lay ahead of them.

Even sadder is the fact that some of these students are too lazy to re-educate themselves or upskill. Again, if the future of work has changed, why have our educational institutions refused to change?

Why are we still using a curriculum developed in the 50s for 2023 and beyond when they are proven insufficient for our problems?

Why are we trying to solve modern-day problems with systems that have proven to be ineffective and inefficient? It is truly disheartening that our educational systems are failing us on a ground scale. As I navigate the murky waters of life and workplace demands, I am certain that only a few of our students are well-equipped for these challenges.
