Blue friday - Color challenge
It was last summer, it was a beautiful sunny day when I decided to visit the Botanical Garden in my city. Life was beautiful, there were no restrictions because of Covid and it felt like the world was taking a breath.
The Botanical Garden is a place of tranquility and there is a small area there reserved for wild plants. There I was able to photograph this beautiful cornflower. In my childhood, these flowers could often be spotted in wheat fields. They made a nice contrast to the golden wheat. Today you can't find these flowers there anymore and that makes me sad.

A few weeks later I was there again to collect some seeds that I will sow in my garden this year. So I get back a beautiful memory from my childhood.
