Busy family weekend - Eating pizza.

Hey friends how are you, I haven't uploaded content here in this community for a long time, I finally have free time and also I did things very different from working until 11pm as I was used to 😂😂. This weekend I was finally able to go for a walk with my family and have a nice time, besides that a cousin was visiting us and we decided to take him out for lunch and a walk around the city.
Well, taking into account that I started my classes again, it seems that we will have field trips on Saturdays, I'm glad because besides going out and seeing other places, it will be something out of the daily routine.

I hope that these next weekends will be full of trips for everyone including me.

On Saturday for example I did two interesting things, the first was to go out with a friend to the recreational area "Parque del Este", which to my surprise was a really nice area (ignoring that the grass is yellow and dry because we are in a semi-arid zone), the truth is that there were many people, the lagoon in the centre had water and there were kayaks for rent, food shops and other things. It reminded me a bit of the forest in the city of Manizales, obviously not on that scale of beauty, but here we haven't seen this for many years.
I immediately sent some pictures to my brother and I remembered a bit of that walk in Colombia, just like there, this park has beach volleyball, baseball, football and arenas for children, I didn't take many pictures of the place but the little bit looked good.

The rest of Saturday afternoon I was just repairing both motorbikes with my cousin, as I had left them abandoned for more than a month without starting them.
The next thing was on Sunday, we continued with the repairs early, but in the afternoon my mum told me that she wanted to go to traki city (it is basically a giant clothing shop, with different departments such as children, ladies, men, home, etc). There were all kinds of clothes there, and well to bother my cousin I decided to take him to buy some flannels to help me all day with the bikes, plus he had never been to a place like this, he comes from the countryside and little frequents the city of course his impression was that the place was huge, we could walk all day and we did not finish seeing all the clothes in the place.

My mum is happy here, it took us about 2 hours waiting for her to choose the clothes she was going to wear, while we walked around the place where there was a children's area apparently. We didn't continue our walk because it was late and we had plans for the evening.

The initial plan for the evening was to go out with my cousins to the baseball stadium to watch the final between Cardenales and Tiburones, but honestly I'm not too excited about this idea, I've never been to the stadium since I live literally 5 blocks away. So we had a little debate between going to eat and going bowling, both options were good.
We had the plan to go eat first and then go bowling, but plans never go as planned and we left late for lunch, so we went straight to Pizzeria del Este, a famous place for their pizza rodizios, it's literally all you can eat for 7$.

I had been there before, but my cousin had never been to a place like this before, so my cousins and I decided to take him to try all the different types of pizza they make here.
We found strange things, from sushi pizzas, to pepito pizzas and traditional pizzas, and some sweet ones. To my surprise, the sushi pizza was delicious, not to mention the other pizzas such as the 4 cheese pizza, the vegetable pizzas and others.

My personal record between the sweet and savoury pizzas was 16 slices, but my cousin ate more than 20, we made him try all kinds and he was really delighted, and while we were eating we watched the game on TV to see how the city team lost the final.

And last but not least we finished with ice cream, and it was already 11pm, so we couldn't go bowling, it was too late and we had to go back home.
The funny thing is that none of the 4 of us could sleep early because of all the food we ate, I for example fell asleep at 2am and my cousins the same, so I went to school sleepy on Monday.

A very fun weekend with the family, I hope the next one will be even better, see you next time.
