De visita para tomar un respiro de la cuarentena. / Visiting to take a break from quarantine

La cuarenta que se dicto en todos los países a nivel mundial cambio nuestras vidas de una forma drástica, el Covid19 fue algo que cambio nuestra rutina diaria y es algo que quedara marcado para la historia y para las siguientes generaciones.
Creo que esta sera una historia para recordar en unos años, y contar a nuestros nietos o sobrinos.

The forty that was dictated in all countries worldwide changed our lives in a drastic way, the Covid19 was something that changed our daily routine and is something that will remain marked for history and for the next generations.
I believe that this will be a story to remember in a few years, and to tell our grandchildren or nephews.

Una de las cosas en que mas ha influido es el distanciamiento social, quizás hayan muchas familias como la mía, en la que los hermanos solían visitarse constantemente, reunirse un fin de semana o celebrar el cumpleaños de algún primo, tío, sobrino, etc.
Nosotros teníamos meses sin visitar a una hermano de mi padre, y hace 3 decidimos ir luego de 4 meses a la casa materna de mi padre, la casa de mi abuelo y abuela (QEPD), donde vive una de mis tías, la menor para ser especifico ella es especial, ya que nació con problemas de aprendizaje, la casa es su herencia y ella esta al cuidado de mi nana, larga historia ya que ella tiene muchos años con mi familia es la persona que la cuida.

One of the things that has influenced most is the social distancing, perhaps there are many families like mine, where the brothers used to visit each other constantly, meet one weekend or celebrate the birthday of a cousin, uncle, nephew, etc.
We had months without visiting a brother of my father, and 3 months ago we decided to go after 4 months to the maternal house of my father, the house of my grandfather and grandmother (QEPD), where one of my aunts lives, the youngest to be specific she is special, since she was born with learning problems, the house is her inheritance and she is to the care of my nana, long history since she has many years with my family is the person who takes care of her.

Semanalmente uno de los hermanos debe quedarse en la casa, son 6 hermanos en total, así que mi padre si va mensualmente por 1 semana completa, la diferencia es que mi madre y yo no salimos por que sinceramente no queremos poner en riesgo la salud de mi tía, esta semana una de las hermanas mayores estaba de guardia, así que decidimos ir todos esta vez y compartir un rato en familia luego de mucho tiempo.
Al llegar fue una completa sorpresa que nosotros fuéramos ido, así que aprovecharon la ayuda de mi padre y de mi madre para poner a funcionar una vieja maquina de cocer.

Weekly one of the brothers must stay in the house, there are 6 brothers in total, so my father goes monthly for 1 full week, the difference is that my mother and I do not go out because we sincerely do not want to risk the health of my aunt, this week one of the older sisters was on duty, so we decided to go all this time and share some family time after a long time.
When we arrived it was a complete surprise that we were going, so they took advantage of my father's and mother's help to put an old cooking machine to work.

Solo había que apretar algunas correas, engrasar la maquina y listo a funcionar nuevamente, así que pusieron manos a la obra para cocer algunas cosas. Tardamos mucho tiempo conversando, hablando sobre la familia que esta en otro país, cuando se normalizaran las salidas en el país, es decir hasta cuando sera la cuarentena.

All they had to do was tighten a few belts, grease the machine and it was ready to go again, so they set to work to cook a few things. We spent a lot of time talking, talking about the family that is in another country, when the departures in the country will be normalized, that is, until when the quarantine will be.

Aprovechamos para tomar un como de café con una merienda, sinceramente tenia demasiado tiempo que no hacia algo parecido, fue el respiro de la cuarenta mas merecido que hemos tenido.

We took the opportunity to have a cup of coffee with a snack, honestly I had too much time not to do something like that, it was the most deserved break we have had.

Fue la primera vez en mucho tiempo que compartimos en familia en mucho tiempo, hicimos demasiadas cosas, algunos postres, conversamos sobre la familia que esta fuera del país. Quedamos en volver a vernos esta semana nuevamente para hacer un almuerzo familiar, quizás el jueves o viernes.
Mientras todos conversaban sobre algo yo escuchaba y prestaba atención, fue como oír una charla interminable, pero la verdad fue una tarde súper agradable, lo mejor que ha pasado en mucho tiempo sin duda alguna.

It was the first time in a long time that we shared in family in a long time, we did too many things, some desserts, we talked about the family that is out of the country. We agreed to meet again this week to have a family lunch, maybe on Thursday or Friday.
While everyone was talking about something I was listening and paying attention, it was like hearing an endless chat, but the truth was that it was a super nice afternoon, the best thing that has happened in a long time without a doubt.

Simplemente espero poder repetir estas reuniones con toda mi familia, siempre y cuando teniendo las precauciones adecuadas, aunque ellos igual que nosotros cumplen la cuarentena, así que sinceramente no me preocupo por nada.

I just hope I can repeat these meetings with all my family, as long as I take the right precautions, even though they, like us, are in quarantine, so I honestly don't worry about anything.
