Maybe not Harry Potter, but surely a cool and unique place to go! Eclectic maybe? Anyway...


Another from the group had the most delicious fish'n chips made on this side of the Atlantic - with haddock. Delicious haddock. Original Fish n' Chips. Fresh Haddock, breaded and fried, served with homemade tarter sauce. Now, we are talking yumminess. I didn't get a picture of it, but, the ice cream Sunday came in what looked like a 50's car with ice cream, banana and syrup in it. Did I mention the cherry on top? That is the part I love best.


But... did they have haddock? My goodness, that was more than just a place to go eat... yes? Not a quick trip to McDonald's or something. Reminds me of the days of going to the bookstore... grabbing a book, sitting on the floor, and reading a few pages, to see if I wanted to get the book. (You know... back before they would freak out, and remove you from the store for reading a book before buying it?) Appreciate you taking us along with you on your #marketfriday...

By the way... could I get some support, and maybe some auto-correct?

They did use haddock for their fish 'n chips! That is the absolute best! Cod is the second best and other than that, it would be no thank you. :) Oh, yeah! Even Borders still let you do that until they closed in 2011. I still remember going to the store the day before closure. It was one of the saddest days.

Bookstores are still a part of my life. I love books. I have a kindle but, it is not the same.
