My only major problem was that certain scenes were unskippable

This was the major issue that I had with the game and why I never completed it. There was an awful lot of running around the little village looking for some random ass object as well. I liked the touching story and the graphical style, but ultimately I just ended up watching a YT video about the conclusion instead of endlessly wandering around looking for something like the rake you have to use to clean up the leaves so that lady can get into the truck.

Yeah, I can't blame you for that. Purely in terms of mechanics, it doesn't feel like it really respects your time. But the beautiful story and inventive ideas pulled me through. Thank you for your comment!
