The kingdom of the capuchin monkeys - Monomad Challenge
(Edited)
On the day when I was about to go to work, I took some time to visit one of the emblematic natural parks of the city of Puerto Ordaz - Venezuela, known as Cachamay, and I had the pleasant surprise of finding a herd of capuchin monkeys, which I thought had become extinct, due to many reasons, but I see that there is a significant population in the area, of which I could calculate at first glance that there were approximately 60 or more monkeys.
The truth is that I was very happy that these living beings are reproducing in their habitat, their home for hundreds of years, and that it is partly a great attraction for this park, which is enduring in its nature despite its abandonment. And of course I didn't miss the opportunity to take some photographs of these beautiful animals.
At first when I managed to see the monkeys from afar, I could see that there were many of them, and as I got closer, many of them were dispersed by my presence, although I could still get close to a couple of monkeys with their young, however they were uncomfortable with my presence, but I could still capture their presence through the camera, as well as other monkeys that were among trees and savannah. Although the day was very cloudy and I had to make certain settings to be able to capture these images, I had the idea of capturing them in black and white.
All the photographs are my own and were taken with a Canon T3i camera.
