My travel companions and I in Santiago de Chile

Today I want to make my participation in the contest with a trip that was very special for me, it is the trip I made to Santiago de Chile. First let's start by locating Santiago de Chile geographically. Geographic location Santiago, Source Google Maps Santiago is the political and financial capital of the country, being the most populous city in this, with more than 7 million inhabitants. Santiago is one of the cities with the most modern infrastructure in Chile and in turn has a great population diversity, being the city with the largest number of immigrants in the country, its streets brimming with arts, culture and gastronomic points.

The Plaza de Armas is one of the most attractive places in the center of the city, it concentrates multiple buildings and monuments with high historical value, such as the statue of Pedro de Valdivia, founder of the city, the monument to freedom in honor of the struggle of independence, the monument to the original peoples in honor of the indigenous resistance, as well as the monument to the fallen among many others.

Santa Lucia Hill

Located steps from downtown Santiago, Cerro Santa Lucía is a cultural icon of the city, with multiple attractions and a lot of history.
When the city of Santiago was founded in the 16th century, this place served as a fort and observatory to protect the newly founded city.
