MY TRAVEL TO SANTIAGO DE CHILE - MI VIAJE A SANTIAGO DE CHILE [ENG-ESP]
Hello dear friends of Wednesday Walk, it is a pleasure to write for you again.
My travel companions and I in Santiago de Chile
Today I want to make my participation in the contest with a trip that was very special for me, it is the trip I made to Santiago de Chile. First let's start by locating Santiago de Chile geographically. Geographic location Santiago, Source Google Maps Santiago is the political and financial capital of the country, being the most populous city in this, with more than 7 million inhabitants. Santiago is one of the cities with the most modern infrastructure in Chile and in turn has a great population diversity, being the city with the largest number of immigrants in the country, its streets brimming with arts, culture and gastronomic points.

A walk through Plaza de Armas
The Plaza de Armas is one of the most attractive places in the center of the city, it concentrates multiple buildings and monuments with high historical value, such as the statue of Pedro de Valdivia, founder of the city, the monument to freedom in honor of the struggle of independence, the monument to the original peoples in honor of the indigenous resistance, as well as the monument to the fallen among many others.

Santa Lucia Hill
Located steps from downtown Santiago, Cerro Santa Lucía is a cultural icon of the city, with multiple attractions and a lot of history.
When the city of Santiago was founded in the 16th century, this place served as a fort and observatory to protect the newly founded city.

Mis compañeros de viaje y yo en Santiago de Chile
El día de hoy quiero hacer mi participación en el concurso con un viaje que fue muy espacial para mí, se trata del viaje que hice a Santiago de Chile. Primero comencemos por ubicar a Santiago de Chile geográficamente.

Santiago es la capital política y financiera del país, siendo la ciudad mas poblada de este, con mas de 7 millones de habitantes. Santiago es una de las ciudades con la mas moderna infraestructura de Chile y a su vez cuenta con una gran diversidad poblacional, siendo la ciudad con la mayor cantidad de inmigrantes del país, sus calles rebosan en artes, cultura y puntos gastronómicos.

Un paseo por Plaza de Armas
La Plaza de Armas es uno de los lugares mas atractivos en el centro de la ciudad, concentra multiples edificios y monumentos con alto valor histórico, como La estatua de Pedro de Valdivia, fundador de la ciudad, el monumento a libertad en honor a la lucha de independencia, el monumento a los pueblos originarios en honor a la resistencia indígena, al igual que el monumento a los caídos entre muchos otros.

Cerro Santa Lucía
Ubicado a pasos del centro de Santiago, el Cerro Santa Lucía es un ícono cultural de la ciudad, con multiples atracciones y mucha historia.
Cuando se fundó la ciudad de Santiago en el siglo XVI este lugar servía de fuerte y observatorio para resguardar la ciudad recién fundada.
