最近，一位朋友從海外回來，然後在機場感染了新冠，但幸好倖免於難。朋友康復後，我們立即團聚。朋友的妹妹問我過得好不好，我回答還不錯，我有避免比較物質財富的傾向。除了童年創傷或無法實現某些目標之外的不快樂大多源於比較。人們天生就想要所謂的更大更好的東西。當他們完成支付小公寓的抵押貸款後，他們想搬進公寓、有地房產、平房、豪宅等。同樣，一些女性想要LV包，其次是香奈兒，最後是愛馬仕。有些人喜歡追求物質方式的升級，但這對我來說很累。妹妹很滿意我的回答。

Recently, a friend returned from overseas and then caught COVID at the airport but thankfully survived the ordeal. We had a reunion immediately after my friend recovered. The sister asked about my well-being, so I answered that I'm doing well as I have a tendency to avoid comparing material wealth. Unhappiness apart from childhood trauma or inability to achieve certain goals mostly stems from comparison. People inherently want the so-called bigger and better things. When they completed paying the mortgage for a small apartment, they want to move into a condominium, landed property, bungalow, mansion, and so on. Similarly, some women want LV bags, followed by Chanel, then ultimately Hermes. Some people enjoy pursuing material upgrades but it's exhausting for me. My friend's sister was satisfied with my answer.
