Rocking My Crotchet Top By @Blezyn

Nigeria is freaking hot for most of the year and the heat makes me want to take my clothes off whenever I'm dressed up.

Sometimes when my husband asks that we go out I think of how uncomfortable dressing up is and I bail. Like, I just want to be naked and free.

I tend to wear oversize cotton t-shirts a lot because of how super comfortable they are but it gets boring having to wear that every time. I like to switch it up sometimes so I geared towards tank tops.

Then I came across this crotchet halter neck top made by @blezyn in the @needleworkmonday community and I sent her my order. I've always loved crotchet but I can only make simple bags and hats. I was in awe when I saw she made outfits with crotchet.

It was love at first sight when she posted this top and I knew it was just the right fit for the heat. I could dress it up or down if I wanted to too.

The open back reminds me of my childhood when I seriously craved open back tops and my mum considered it indecent dressing. Now I can wear it and also feel free and a bit naked while still covered up.

I wore it today and it was so comfortable. I had to carry a shirt though because the weather can be two-faced. I was right because it's currently raining and I'm stuck outside but I have my shirt to keep me warm.

Anyway, I really like my top by my fellow needleworker Blessing. It's nearly done, sits pretty, and makes me look and feel good. You should definitely patronize her (@blezyn) if you're in Nigeria. I don't know if she ships worldwide but you can ask her.
