The Migraines Are Back

images 75.jpeg

I'll be 26 in less than a month and I've had more migraines than most people I know my whole life. It got really bothersome one time and I complained to a doctor. Nothing was found to be wrong as there was no underlying issue. I'm always prescribed pain killers and rest.

It's very tiring to live with constant pain, pressuring my organs with the use of OTC drugs regularly. I didn't get a lot of migraines last year up until now and it has me thinking if this has anything to do with my emotional state. The second half of last year I changed environment and came back home, and I've had more peace of mind. It's not like I had zero migraines but they were less and not constant.

Suddenly I'm getting constant migraines these past weeks that I've been tensed and somewhat unhappy. The regular paracetamol isn't working and I'm scared to use stronger pain killers because I worry I have stomach ulcer.

My brother also gets constant migraines and he tells me my mum had them too when she was younger. I guess it's hereditary.

I'd like to know if there are natural ways to treat migraines. Especially this one sided type that affects the eyes too.

One had migraines on a off for years. My dad and his side of the family all have bad migraines so I’m sure there is a hereditary route to it. I’ve also changed jobs and now work from hone and have barely had any migraine for about a year. One of the changes was no longer working on a computer often. Drinking loads of water and getting exercise to manage stress. A happier self definitely helps minimise the migraines for me. Guess you need to figure out what’s going to make you happy???

I guess so. I've been under pressure lately and need to ease off. Thanks for your input.

When I had migraine, I did ice compress on the back of my neck and it helps soothes it. Have you tried that?

Sorry, hope things improve. Our youngest had migraines in Ecuador the whole time we lived there, and we suspected it was caused by the black mold in our bathroom. I can't verify this, but when we left that space, her migraines and some respiratory issues cleared up. I hope you are able to get to the root of this problem.
