A 'For the first time' To-do list

When was the last time you did something for the first time?

Many people are scared of trying out new things when they get the chance. I am heavy on the fact that we should try out new things from time to time. It's as easy as that. Trying out new things won't cause you any harm if you play it safe. Pay more attention to the "play it safe" part.

Personally, I have a list of new things that I'd love to try out. The list is quite long but I would state out a few things from the list.

First:Food

The food from diverse parts of the world would always make the top of my list😅. @Princessbusayo made mention of Amala in one of her posts and that's the first on my food list. If I want to judge this particular dish from the looks, I'd probably not try it out but I have a good feeling about it and I'm going to try it out sooner or later. This is for the local Nigerian dishes. I'd also love to try out the continental and traditional dishes in every other country I get to reach. Other countries always seem to have something exquisite for their tourists. I hope this doesn't change when I start travelling hehehe. My first tourist touchdown should be Germany ✨.

Second:Exploration

Anyone who knows me should know that I love exploring. I like going to places and checking out things. I have a greater yearning for ancient artefacts. I always want to see, feel and examine. My love for exploring automatically gave birth to a love for travelling too. Most of the artefacts I'd love to see are not within reach and as such, I would have to travel far and wide to fulfil my desires.

Third:Join Charity Organizations.

Joining a charity organisation would be a great thing to do. I would likely want to join a charity organisation that deals with cancer or HIV since I'm medically inclined educationally and it would be a good way to share the information I gather from college and from work. Growing up, I always admired my dad as he was a member of the Lions club- a group dedicated to serving their community. Giving service is something I love doing so why not?

Fourth:Try out a Rollercoaster

This is the part where I say I like taking risks 😅. I don't just want to try out any rollercoaster, I want to specifically try the 'Kingda Ka' roller coaster in New Jersey. This could be described as the world's most scary roller coaster and what fun is it to join a rollercoaster and not scream in fear?😅

Fifth:Visit an Art Gallery.

I admire many things in life but I totally adore artworks especially those that I relate with. I would love to visit an art gallery. During this visit, I'd ask lots of questions and I hope to find a piece that resonates with my soul. If I do, I'm definitely going to take it back home with me.

These are but a few things I wish to try out with time. Take risks while you still can. When you grow older you'd have more responsibilities and then it would be harder to take risks.

With love, wongi ✨

I'm also a Nigerian who has never tried Amala, I wonder how come sometimes but it's something I'll definitely try. I've also not tried everything on your list apart from a rollercoaster. Got a lot to do in future 😎✌️

I wonder how come

This is exactly the question. I wonder how come😅

So how was your rollercoaster ride. Did you scream out your lungs or you maintained the @nevies composure 😎

You bet I maintained the @nevies gangsta composure. I was unimpressed at the rollercoaster's attempt to thrill me. I almost shouted "is this the best you've got?" 🌚🌚

Now I can only imagine how people would stare at you and in their mind their like " somebody should call the cops on this guy, he wants us all dead." 😅

It's funny people have some phycological beliefs that makes them not to try certain things. For example dog meat is very common in southern Nigeria. But it's a crime in the western world. Not that I have tried it though.

That could be because of their beliefs or sentiment.

But I doubt any believe would stop anyone from visiting a museum 😅
