Eng/Esp: Gratitude|| The Day At The Bar

English

We meet the best set of people in the most unexpected places. For some reason, you're in a particular place at a particular time. Your mind is a rollercoaster because you're not certain as to why you're in that particular place. Well, there is a purpose for you being there.

Few years ago, my introverted part wanted to kick in fully. I had just graduated from high school and unlike other teenagers, I just wanted to be at home. I stayed indoors from dusk till dawn and it got people worried. They expected to see more of me when I graduated but I only had less to offer.

One day, I made a conscious decision to sit by the bar close to our house. I had friends working there so I just went, and began chit chatting with them. When I want to be chatty I get very chatty and my face kind of brightens up a whole lot. It's automatic, especially when I'm chatting about things that I relate with.

Customers came in and my friends had to return to work. I was left alone until I wasn't anymore. A guy walked in looking so vibrant. I know a person with good energy when I see one and I had just seen one. He thought I was one of the bar attendants and so he was asking for the prices of drinks. I had to stand in for my friend but I wasn't so certain about the prices.

Along the line, one of the bar attendants returned and I immediately left the place. I went inside the bar to receive fresh air. My eyes automatically start getting dim whenever my brain feels that it has seen too many people for a day.

As I was receiving my fresh air, I saw this guy again. The first thing my mind told me to do was "run". I literally wanted to escape but there was no other door except the entrance door. My mind probably told me to run because it knew that I was about to have a conversation which I most likely won't be interested in.

The guy approached, still smiling and I had to smile back. We got talking and he was already teaching me a lot of new things. That day was the beginning of my crypto journey. I love learning new things and I'm always open whenever it comes to receiving or dispensing knowledge. I got to know that he's from an entirely different tribe and that alone piqued my interest. Meeting people from different tribes and learning their culture is just sheer ecstasy to me.

It turns out that this guy had just come into my city and he was pretty much lost. I still keep asking him why he thought I was the perfect person to guide him. I barely even stepped out of my house and the day I did, I officially became a city guide😅.

Few months later, he was the one that became my guide because he had already reached places that I never reached.

I'd always be grateful that I met him as he has been a constant in my life. He's been a teacher, a very good friend, a city guide and a lot more. Honestly, with his help, I have gradually gone out of my shell
I discovered that there's more to life than my bed and solitude.

PS: I still prefer staying indoors to going out. I doubt this would change anytime soon😅

Sometimes, it is good to step out of our comfort zones. If I was still reluctant to step out, I would have gradually become a furniture in my house.

I met this here while looking for what to write...🙇

To be honest, I love the both but I often do more of indoor, especially when I know that outside is all about debit. Why should I go out to spend instead of staying on my chair and hunt for money online?😁

But also, being outside is very good for our social life. I get this easiness whenever I spend time outside (if it's well spent though).

It seems you're the introvert offline but extrovert online 🤣. We are many on this table

Hehehe😂😂😂 I'm in-between actually, i literally return the energy I receive. So if my energy is low, you should check yourself 😂

But my energy can never be low with you around🌝😂😂

And yes, I prevent debit alert by staying indoors. But the fact remains that debit alert is everywhere😅

Let me tell you,,, my parents are in the village and we have a lot of native fowls. I don't know if you know how strong local fowls are, they're very strong and can swim in water like duck🤸.
If that's what your parents will request, it's a Passover for me.

After all, that forced departure from your home turned out to your benefit. How good that you were able to cultivate this new friendship when you were mired in those gray days. Friendship and affection make our dark life filled with light and give us a sense of satisfaction in life. I really enjoyed your experience and your account of it @wongi . All the best!💪👍🤗

I like the way you put it here. The sense of satisfaction was truly found.

How interesting it is you met someone who changed a lot about you on the day you set out to go out.

That's an amazing turn of the day.

I prefer to be indoors. I like to carry out all my activities from here. If you leave me, I can live inside my house for ages. It is my comfort. I don't have meaningless conversations for long. It bores me out of my mind unless I am actually having it with people who mean so much to me. Hahaha. But every now and then, I try to leave and interact with people.

Staying indoors is actually very peaceful and less brain draining. But still, I need to step out once in a while and I'm going to do just that.

Thank you for dropping such an amazing comment dear✨

There was a time in my life I could explore the world as much as I could but I preferred remaining indoors, now I don't have that time anymore as most of my activities require me to be indoors most times, I only go out occasionally and it's not something wild, more like a triangle lifestyle, If asked or given the opportunity, I would be the carefree outdoor person.

I have reconsidered my indoor decision. I had a little change of mind about staying indoors so much and I decided to make it equal, a little outside and a little inside.

Thank you very much for stopping by and dropping such an amazing comment. I really appreciate it✨
