Kick-starting my Crypto Journey

The world is moving and everything is evolving so fast except for me of course. Most things are becoming electronic and digital. I made it a point not to move with the world.

I've never been the type that follows the multitude. I do me and that's just alright or so I assume.

Everywhere you go, you hear things about cryptocurrency. There are so many coins existing, both fake and real. You see things like NFTs, coin earning games and a whole lot of other things that I just can't comprehend.

So let me throw more light on my point of view concerning these things. First, cryptocurrency. This was totally a no no for me. It felt illegal right from the start, coupled with the fact that cryptocurrency trading was banned in my country and so, I concluded that it's a no go area.

I haven't gotten much insight on it but I realised that it's not that bad if done the right way. Many people would want to take advantage of others and try scamming them for their money, but without the scammers and inflators, the crypto world is a nice place to be.

To the coins, I didn't want to even look towards that area. What would I get involved with virtual coins when I could I could easily walk with my ATM card anyway and purchase anything I want to but that's a great loss. With fluctuation of currencies and the increase in prices of goods and services, one can't trust physical cash.

Then to the NFTs, I don't see a reason why people would probably buy a teddy bear and cherish it so much. Like why?! My elder brother showed me some of his NFTs but I saw them as useless. Taking another look at it, I realised that they are not useless after all. You could get an NFT today and sell it for triple the price in a week. Not bad at all.

To crown this all, I'm in a place where people talk about these things, their advantages and disadvantages, and I still used to overlook it. I have the opportunity others are looking for given to me on a platter of gold and I've ignored it for way too long. I've decided to take my chances and learn more about these things. It would help in the long run. So I guess I'd be seeing more of the @leofinance community because I'm still an illiterate when it comes to these crypto things and I'd love for that to change. It would be a total pleasure indeed.
