What Makes The Dreem Work?

For the past two weeks, I've said a lot of things about my dreams and what tools I could use to accomplish these dreams. The dream I brought to the spotlight was the dream of having a comfortable space where I could operate in with utmost relaxation.

This dreem was just a yearning till the monthly dreemport challenge commenced. It was a yearning because somewhere deep down, I knew that I would love to have such a space but I never gave it so much thought for reasons that I still do not know.

Sometime back, I remember listening to a wise person who gave me some advice as to how I could live a fairly balanced life. The person said all he had to say but rounded up with the statement "you cannot live as an island even though you may want to. You would need people who can support you each step of the way. You would need an empirical team".

To back this up, my mom always gave illustrations of how easy it was to break a broomstick but how hard it was to break a bunch of broomsticks. This illustration usually ended with the moral lesson; "alone you're vulnerable but when you have a teem, you can withstand tough times".

Irrespective of all the advice I got and illustrations I saw, I still felt that being a lone wolf was better because life felt less complicated and less hazardous when in solitude. A life where I wouldn't need to depend on anyone or anything.

This view came to an abrupt end when I was introduced to Hive. The instant love and warmth that Hive encompassed made me rethink my decisions. Soon enough, I began making friends, networking and getting to know how the system worked as I was one very clueless fellow.

The first set of people who I became really close to were Kingsleyy and Chimaka as we were always rambling about everything and anything in the COM community.

Soon enough, I was introduced to dreemport by the dearest Deraa and this was when the real connections stated. I would say that over eighty percent of the people who I can comfortably converse with were met on dreemport and I'm not exaggerating in any way.

I have a long list of people who I would love to invite to be part of my dreem teem but I would be mentioning just three of them today.

@ibbtammy would be one of them. I got closer to this vibrant young lady during one of the dreemport contests where we had to form groups. She happened to be part of my group and till date, I'm thankful I came across her.

I'd love her to be on my dreem team as she is one incredible dreemer. I cannot talk about positivity and love without mentioning her. She may not know this but her little gestures and words of encouragement always go a long way.

IB is one person who cheers you up when you're at your lowest, advises you when you feel lost, and motivates you if need be. Her charisma is just admirable and having her around would only mean one thing "achieved dreems".

Talking about encouragement without mentioning the super star @tengolotodo would be taboo. This is one other dreemer I would love to have on my dreem teem. I still cannot remember clearly how we crossed paths but certainly it was through dreemport. Ever since we met, it has been one encouragement after another.

With all certainty I can say that I wouldn't dare go back on my dreem or give up on my dreems with Tengo onboard as this Scotsman is another incredible motivator.

The super star Tengo was one of the very few people on Hive who believed in and supported my crochet skills even when I didn't believe in myself. I've watched how many Hivians have benefited from his benevolence. One can say that he's been a Godsent to many people on Hive.

The last person I'd love to have on my dreem teem would be @protokkol, hehe, surprise! I cannot begin to elaborate how much of an immense help this young man has been in my life, both on Hive and outside Hive.

He is definitely someone I'd love to have on my teem as he's a great supporter, a free spirit and an amazing person in general. Someone who would go the extra mile to help find remedies for issues presented. I honestly do not know who else fits this role better than protokkol.

These are all people who could trade anything to see the people around them grow and as such, they would be perfect for my dreem teem.With these people on my dreem teem, I'm certain I could scale through easily as achieving my dreem wouldn't be so much of a problem.
