The Wrong Use of Healing Magic - Review

source

In the last few years, many isekai anime have emerged with various themes raised, one of the isekai anime that I discussed in the previous post is Mushoku Tensei Season 1 and 2 which are a high benchmark according to my taste. Even though several titles were interesting to me, they weren't as impressive as Mushoku Tensei, until finally I found an isekai anime with the title Chiyu mahō no machinate tsukaikata/The Wrong Use of Healing Magic which was broadcast on Muse Indonesia, at first I just wanted to watch it while killing time because at that time I was waiting for someone and didn't have high expectations for this anime. Finally, I liked it and continued with each episode, I seemed to be drawn into the story of the struggle of the main character named Usato, even though the initial story idea was similar to the isekai anime that I had watched, the Chiyu Mahō no Machigatta Tsukaikata anime gave a slightly different impression.

The anime Chiyu mahō no Machigatta Tsukaikata/The Wrong Use of Healing Magic tells the story of a high school student named Ken Usato whose school life is ordinary, nothing special, to the point where he sometimes feels like he doesn't exist. One day when Usato was about to go home from school he was caught in an unusual atmosphere, he came home from school together with the female student council president Suzune Inukami, and her companion Kazuki.

The three of them went home from school together because Usato didn't bring an umbrella, and Kazuki lent him his umbrella and they walked home together, in the middle of the journey suddenly the three of them were pulled by a magic circle and entered a different world. Of the three students who were pulled by the magic circle during the rain, only Inukami and Kazuki were pulled into the isekai world, and Usato was only the victim because, at the time it happened, Usato was near the two of them.

That's where the story of the anime Chiyu mahō no machigatta tsukaikata/The Wrong Use of Healing Magic begins, I finally wondered why the title of this anime seemed to suggest the comedy anime genre or the usual isekai world story. I questioned that in the first episode when watching it, until as the storyline progressed, I became more and more interested in this anime, the character Usato gave me a deep meaning. Like an isekai anime where the main character Healer reminds me of Luciel from the anime The Great Cleric but with a crueler training version and a wider storyline. In my opinion, Usato's character here should be able to live a peaceful life, but he was discovered by Rose, who is the team leader Healer and recruits Usato to provide special training for him to become a healer who can make a big contribution on the battlefield later.

source

Everyone in the isekai world is very afraid of Rose, and not many people can pass the training given by the healer team leader because he provides physical training that is so heavy that it is difficult for people with ordinary physiques to follow, but Usato has just arrived. in this isekai feels that he has to fight hard in this world so he can help injured soldiers later. As the story of this anime progressed, I seemed to get inspiration from the figure of Usato, he took part in Captain Rose's very tough physical training every day with complaints, but Usato still completed every training with the ambition to repay Captain Rose when he became strong. Even though Usato is being battered by heavy training from Captain Rose, there are always funny moments that are shown making us as viewers feel even more entertained apart from seeing Usato tired from training.

I like the character design in this anime, each character is not overly designed, and the uniform used by the healing team is one that I like, like the one worn by Captain Rose when she first appeared to take Usato to the training camp, although several angles still remind me of Luciel but this slowly disappeared as the story continued and I saw the figure of Usato who has a characteristic in this anime. Another angle of this anime that I like is when Usato meets Inukami and tells him about the different world they live in, I like Usato's attitude of respecting Inukami's opinion and sometimes he looks embarrassed because he can talk casually with Inukami which would not happen in that world. previously because Usato was just an ordinary student while Inukami was a complete package girl, and Kazuki was also very kind to Usato without feeling that he was stronger than Usato.

I recommend the anime Chiyu mahō no machigatta tsukaikata/The wrong use of healing magic to those of you who are looking for an anime in the Isekai genre with a story that is not too light or too much, I think all the aspects of the anime are just right, not too little or too much, everything is executed well by Shin-Ei Animation Studios.

It is true what you say about the design of the characters, the truth is that they look pretty good. Regarding the anime, I don't think I'll watch it, I don't like isekai, however I must admit that the story is interesting.

Thanks for sharing. Regards!

I also didn't like the isekai genre at first until Mushoku Tensei was released and after that a lot of isekai genre anime came out but I was very picky about watching them. Maybe you should try an isekai title so that the anime genre references you watch are fresher, thank you for visiting my blog :)

What you say about this anime and expectations happened to me with Mushoku Tensei and in the end I found it to be a gem of an anime. I hadn't heard about it but I already know what it's about and I think I'm going to give it a chance. I like the Isekai, I don't understand why, but in the end they have something that ends up hooking people. I think it's the mix between the mystical and the deep that turns into themes of life itself.

its visual style I like it looks very good, personally I think there is no greater exponent in the isekai currently than Mushoku Tensei and if you say that this anime manages to fill the expectations almost like Mushoku I must see it, the healer theme looks curious and I will try to see it soon :D

Personally, this anime is very underrated. Unlike typical Isekai anime with super-cheated and invincible protagonists, this one focuses on the development of a protagonist who, By mistake, he became a hero, being only a healer. I really liked the construction of the characters, the emotional story they tell us and, of course, the battle scenes and the power levels that are fantastic.

What I see from this anime that I haven't seen before in any other anime of its kind is the way they use sanction magic as both a power to heal (obviously), protect and save lives to then become a powerful combat skill, hand-to-hand against evil forces. I loved it.

I give this Isekai a 9/10.

Yes, I really agree with your opinion, one of the reasons I like this anime is that the main character is not given privileges over power like other isekai anime. Usato had to struggle so hard with Captain Rose's training that sometimes he almost felt like he was dying to complete it. Thank you for sharing your positive opinion about this post :)
