Koh Phangan Night Market: From Raw Clams to Mango and Sticky Rice!

Read this post on TravelFeed.io for the best experience

That is one thing I find kinda unusual about this market. It really seems as if the locals come here to sell whatever they've got. A lot of markets around Thailand will either be food stalls, maybe food stalls and souvenirs and a little cloths and handbags. A little jewelry maybe, you get the idea. But at this market don't be surprised to see a pile of homegrown pineapples laying out on a table. Or some fresh raw clams just dug out of the sand. I always get a kick out of seeing the unexpected, and at this market you'll get a little of that. Now come along and lets have a closer look around.

SPLASH! That is a seafood kind of fried omelet.

Those pineapples I mentioned.

Looks like those fried omelets maybe.

Chicken and rice?

Some plants.... Why not?

Famous Thai Mango and Sticky Rice

I always like my raw clams with a side of basil.

THANK YOU

Keep posting about the food!!!!

It all looks amazing!!!! I can even think of a green curry coconut soup that would use those clams and basil nicely. ;-)

Seafood is my favorite type of food . I would not doubt eating that omelet with that fresh seafood. i would to add some lemon to the equation . My mouth is watering right now.
