Yeah, babies and animals can't help but make noise. The only way to fix the situation is find out what they need. Scolding or punishment could never work, especially if they're doing it because of an urgent need.

Yes i agree!
I also believe that reproach is something that should be dosed very well and should be used sparingly.

I am for a type of education that leads to reprimand and punishment in extreme cases and certainly not with newborns.
