"Man's Best Friend" - A Watercolor Painting (With Video / Steps)

I love animals and especially dogs! In my personal experience the Golden Retriever is perhaps the friendliest dog of all breeds. Golden Retrievers are open-minded and uncomplicated towards strangers, other dogs, cats, and other animals in general. They are fun-loving and active, but at the same time they can demonstrate a patience that is out of this world...

The morphing video below shows the development of my painting:

Good boy you are making great strides. You can start working on television. I am sending you a howling wolf from Abruzzo.

Thank you my friend.

You can start working on television.

If you go further down my blog you can find many videos which I like to think of as reasonably professional. (Example: https://peakd.com/travel/@wulff-media/over-italy-a-dream-of-sicily-drone-video) They were purposely produced for the Steem and I had great plans for this. Unfortunately, vote buying was abolished so it wasn't possible to recover at least a portion of the production cost on the Steem. I'm not a rich man, so I had to quit before things ever caught on. I will make more videos, though, once this quarantine is lifted.

Excellent! How did you get the images with the drone?

Glad you like it. I have always been an avid photographer and I own two small drones as part of this hobby. I also carry worldwide liability insurance for them so I can fly legally in many places.

I had also filmed short documentaries under my old account, but I took that down. My first account was too much of a mess with no clear purpose and over 1,000 dead and useless followers from the beginning of Steem. So I started over with @wulff-media. The idea was, to produce faster and cheaper until things catch on, and then get back to more elaborate formats.

Here is an example about the ironworks one town over from me. You can see the area I live in and hear me speak the voice-over: http://www.folkerwulff.com/media/hive-hosting/ironworks-720p30.mp4

Please note, there is VERY HIGH network traffic at the time of this writing (April 4th, 13:45) - the video may hang or stutter; if so, please try again later.

Industrial strength hug ;-)

A very evocative area, but is everything abandoned?

How are you doing with the pollution?

You have a voice set for the best English speaker (I don't know the names) that I envy!

Permits for drones are now very difficult to obtain, even we for the "Out of Control" festival have not been authorized.
By the way, if we manage to do it next year I think that in anticipation of a crowfounding I will give you a job to do.

Social distances permitting!

Fantastic my friend you are very good!

Can I share the video of Sicily?

Yes, it has been a museum for many years. Brings a lot of visitors to the area.

pollution?

No problem. Saarland is actually a very clean and natural area. The industry is bunched in a tiny area along the river Saar and up to modern standards re. pollution.

When I was a boy I went to school close to the still operational ironworks. There was soot on everything and you couldn't wear a white shirt longer than an hour :-)

Yes, it's getting harder everywhere. If the risk is acceptable and insurable, I find it easier to apologize later than ask permission beforehand. In theory, one needs a permit for every flight in Italy. I have flown in smaller venues (like Siracusa) right under the nose of police. In the Sicily video you saw, carabinieri were watching city hall right next to the church, maybe 20 m from me, and they didn't care.

Where terrorism is a big concern, like Roma, Milano, or the Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa I wouldn't dare doing that. (I asked permission of the soldier.)

I will give you a job to do.

Time permitting I'll be happy to help.

Can I share the video of Sicily?

Yes, all music in this video is from the Youtube library and should cause no problem on social media.
