Janvent! Day 15
Welcome to Day 15 of Janvent! Janvent is a celebration of Christmas Advent in January to help, if even just a little, keeping the Christmas spirit alive.
It's cold today. As I wake up it's about -8C outside, with a windchill that will take it into the negative double digits Celsius. I actually enjoy this, and I'm hoping we get a good snowfall to go with it. I have some wine ready to be mulled, some comics to read, and I still have my outside Christmas lights up which will look fantastic under a layer of snow. The cold and the snow also help enjoy Janvent just all that much more.
What is behind door number 15 today?
A mini obelisk puzzle!
I will admit, I am not terribly impressed with having to take these puzzles apart and put them back together. Unless my children grab them and take them apart to taunt me, I'll keep them put together and let the collection grow. What does impress me about these puzzles, though, is how they interlock and snap together. There literally is one "keystone" piece that holds it all together; without that very last piece the entire thing could very easily fall into it's component pieces. Really ingenious engineering.
