Portraits and Other Fun in Butterfly Garden, Bangkok for #Monomad Challenge

I always wanted someone near me who enjoys being photographed, and that never happened until I met Wanut 🌈 in 2017.

Our images not only replenish the archive but are also sent for sale on the Internet. That's how we, as a photographer and a model, have appeared here and there, including in printed books and websites of such reputable mass media as Guardian in 2023 and CNN in 2024. These are not works of art, only illustrations to articles, but it’s still great to know that our efforts meet some standards.

On February 25, we had another lifestyle photography walk in parks at Chatuchak BTS, Bangkok. I think, some of these images have a chance to be sold.

It was 2:45 pm, and the heat was tough. Sweat was trickling down my back, but I left the shade, following Wanut, determined not to miss the sunflower field.

Thais love sunflowers. They visit sunflower fields to take selfie sprees there. I was invited by Wanut's office to join one of such trips last December and that's my post from there.

If you don't know, Bangkok is home to huge and the most beautiful parks! At Chatuchak BTS, they have three large parks adjacent to each other:

Approximately 2 square kilometers of amazingness.

Having reached Bangkok Butterfly Garden and Insectarium (map), we found that place had an exhibition center and a large greenhouse full of butterflies.

You don't need to walk long to find a beautiful insect there. Some of them, moreover, sit at low branches and ignore everything and everyone (probably, they feel too sleepy before crossing the rainbow bridge on the way to hopefully better reincarnation).

Having enjoyed the critters, we left the Butterfly Garden and kept exploring the park.

Then, we found something:

A caterpillar!

Wanut is explaining to me (having this funny brow move) that my worries were in vain since that caterpillar wasn't random, he had seen it before at an exhibition and knew it wasn't dangerous. So putting it on the face was safe.
