Street Photography on the Go in Bangkok Chinatown

This lady, sitting with legs wide apart, noticed that I raised my camera and flashed her eyes at me. No sure she completely hated me but I spotted a tiny sparkle of anger in her look. 😁 I got confused for a couple of seconds but withstood that pressure and took the picture 🤠 Meanwhile, she decided to keep eating like if I didn’t exist. That’s what I did if I would be at her place. 🙂

Probably, not much to add here. An adorable dog has her own vehicle and a personal fan. I can only wish this to every pet in the world 😀

I’ve been spotted right at moment I was trying to sneak this image. 😀

I love that girl’s reaction. It proves one more time - if you feel alright inside of you, you won’t be angry about someone taking an image of you.

Speaking about Thai women. I think they are endowed with dignity and fighting spirit. And this does not prevent them from being empathetic. An amazing mix, my big respect to them.

The chapter “Naughty giraffe”. 🙂 I wanted to take image of the crowd strolling along Yaowarat Street, and this is when I noticed this giraffe floating above heads. I was watching through the camera’s viewfinder how the guy was approaching me, struggling to make his toy stay upright. But the giraffe refused to obey. I felt the guy was upset and even angry thinking that the ideal moment was ruined by this naughty giraffe’s stubbornness. 😀

Yes, this is again Yaowarat Street, Chinatown of Bangkok. Atmospheric street. A word about the bus in the image. The oldest ones among Bangkok buses, red ones always go with all windows open, the floor in them is wooden, and they usually have a bucket or box for garbage inside. They run at high speed with a great roar if the road is clear, and anything can happen. Recently, the driver decided to go around the traffic jam and skip a part of the route. Those passengers who needed to leave at the next station were asked to take another bus, which was also stuck in traffic nearby - this was happening on the third lane of the huge highway. I love this, the spirit of wind and adventure! 🙂

I took this image on the go in the street, with this girl in the middle of "everything red" as the central idea and two male waiters (only one of them is in the image) who were moving so I couldn't know how image would look as a result. Thus... sometimes intuition doesn't fail. I find this photo nice.

This was a real invasion! 😁 Walking down the street, I noticed, through an open doorway, these cooks discussing something in a large kitchen. I came back to pass by the place again but, this time, I emerged in the doorway like a kamikaze paparazzi 😁, took a few images and quickly left 😀 I was spotted by the chef but he didn't stop telling his story and that's how this candid shot appeared:

This is Yaowarat Street, everything about food there! So, let me show a couple of yummy shots from Bangkok Chinatown I took on that day:

These are tiny mushrooms wrapped in a streak of ham, after cooking over the fire, it'll be a tiny BBQ.

Squids on the grill waiting for someone, a local or a "viking" 😄

Speaking about vikings 😁 A charismatic blond-haired crew. 😀

But it was the time to hurry away for me

Getting to suburbs, where I live, takes time, missing the last bus can mean paying for a long ride on a taxi, means losing money.
