Splinterlands Art: Animating EFREET ELDER
Evening Splinterlands
Splinterlands characters are always a great work of art and they look even cooler when animated. Its been a while since I animated one of the character so today I gave it a shot.
This time I choose rare reward monster, EFREET ELDER. I tried Motionleap App and found its performance awesome. It was easy to use, simple yet intricate and fast. The best part is, the free version offered all basic photo animation tools.
Here have a look:
I used simple path and anchor technique without freezing the segments. Once done, I added a bit speed to make things look more dynamic and latter added some fire to the staff.
Too bad 'export to gif' option is unavailable in the free version, so had to 'export to video' and do a manual video to gif conversion in the end.
