A fish market that is ready to meet people's daily needs

Yesterday I woke up earlier than the previous days just to visit a fish market that is ready to meet the daily needs of people, various types of fish provided by the seller. From small fish to large fish that have a delicious taste, so will the price, depending on the type and shape of the fish.

I ran a market stall providing several types of fish there, one of which was tuna which was still very fresh. I also chose a quiet fish stall so that I could be free to take some beautiful moments there.

The location of this market is in Lhokseumawe City, Aceh, Indonesia. You can just look for it on google map with coordinates 5.175141°, 97.152954°.

I not only photographed some moments there but I also wanted to buy fresh fish for my consumption, and the tuna you see here is my choice for this time.

Because I think the fish is very delicious to serve as a side dish, from all aspects of existing cuisine. Maybe this fish is also very commonly found in various marine areas, and almost everyone will know this type of fish.

Below there is also a type of squid that is large, but I didn't choose it because the processing process is a bit complicated, and I'm not good at cooking it. I was only interested in seeing it because it was very cute, so I took a picture of it from the side that was a bit close to it.

There are also several other small fish which are the same type of tuna, and these fish are selling very well for the people there, besides the meat is delicious, the price is also quite cheap from large tuna.

I think the fish will all sell for the next few hours, because I got there early, so the fish still haven't sold. Seeing from the people there are also very many who want to find their daily needs, and throughout the day there will still be people who visit the place.

Not only did I visit one fish stall, there was another fish stall that I visited to see even more interesting fish. And I didn't find it, because they (the fish sellers) said that today almost all fish stalls are exactly the same for the types of fish they sell.

I was relieved at that time, even though I didn't get the complementary fish as I expected, but I got the main fish I wanted. Maybe I'll be home soon to process the fish into a delicious meal, I can't wait to try it.

Thanks to all of you who contributed here #marketfriday, that way we can see markets all over the world. Thanks also to @dswigle for hosting this #marketfriday, so people can share their stories any time.

Yes, it seems so, but cooking squid is a bit complicated and requires special skills, but also the meat is very delicious. 🥰🥰
Thanks @tengolotodo

Welcome to #MarketFriday once again! I love fish markets, especially when they are just off the boat!

Fresh tuna is something I love putting on the grill! It is truly delicious then. How will you be making it? Was the tuna expensive? I know that ours has gone up a lot since 2019 and the pandemic. It used to be $0.77 cents a pound, now... haven't bought it as it is expensive.

I am like you! I usually buy my squid! :) I have done it before with help, but, never by myself. :)

It sounds like you had a nice day perusing the fish stalls. I want to thank you for joining the challenge! Sorry, it took me so long to get here!

Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday! I cannot tell you how pleased I am to see so many participating every week. I have learned so much about the different cultures of the world, especially the small things that go unnoticed except by those looking for them. Life is interesting, wherever you are, whatever you are doing. I hope the week has found you healthy and happy, as we all look to prosper in our way of life.

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.

First of all, thank you for your time and kind words, Ms. @dswigle, I know the posts on #MarketFriday are not small but many people from various regions, this may be natural for you to be late to see my post, and I also didn't put a link my post there.

Talking about the tuna that I got, it was fresh tuna that had just been taken out of the boat, and yes if the tuna was grilled it would taste very delicious, but I'm not here because I want to make the tuna as an easy dish to do, that is, naturally. fried, and the taste is also quite delicious.

I only shelled out 8-10$ for that one big Tuna, and there were a few tails I needed. It is very pleasant for me to see the fish market that is there, because I can see several types of fish there.

Thank you again, Ms. @dswigle, for being here, I am very happy to see you. Also this #MarketFriday community is very good in my opinion, because that way I can see several markets that exist in various regions.

In the future if I have the opportunity to travel to the market, I will do it again and make a more complete story, hopefully I can do it in the future.

Warm greetings, and have a nice day, Ms. @dswigle 🥰🥰

It was a great first post! No worries. I just try to make the experience the best. I loved the market and I have had it fried! It is delicious also!

There are a lot of posts and if you notice they are not all food places. Anywhere you go that you pay money for a service. I have gone to museums, movies, entry to a park, anything! We consider them all to be cultural markets! :)

So thank you so much for the post and for the comment!

Greetings from Washington, DC! A great day to you!
