Eating to get better ❤️‍🩹

I believe food is medicine & can heal us. So, while quarantining in my room waiting to see if I have Covid, I’ve been trying to eat well.

For breakfast, I prepared the scrambled eggs (above) with onions 🧅 , tomatoes 🍅 squash peppers 🫑 and eggplant 🍆— there’s a mouthful!

I served this with a side of chips, jam on toast and a banana 🍌 for potassium.

Because I need to stay hydrated I downed two glasses of water, back to back & a tall glass of orange juice for vitamin c.



I was going to have a simple cup of tomato soup for lunch, but my sweet wife (masked up) surprised me with this delicious/nutritious tuna sandwich — with turmeric, mayonnaise and tabouli (Lebanese salad).

I’m still in bed, taking pain/cold meds but can say that I feel about 40 percent better than I did, yesterday, at this time.

Food (and rest) heal..
