Seeing the world through kids’ eyes 👀
The world is new, all of a sudden, and full of simple pleasures. Cars zipping by in the street are cause for squeals of joy, planes in the air are a miracle!
This is the world as seen through the eyes of a 1 year old nephew and 2 year old niece.
They have invaded our work space and boundaries or privacy are things of the past.
But who can resist these bundles of joy? Not I!
A walk to the garage to start the car is special outing in their book
Gazing out the window — especially, when it is raining or birds happen to fly by — that’s all these wondrous kiddies need to keep engaged.
And, because they are outrageously cute - one puts up with outrageous behavior (screaming tantrums, and general disorder)
Their nap time is when I take my siesta to catch my breath for round two of the day, when we must negotiate with the little terrorists to get them in their high seat so they can eat.
They’ve been with us for over 3 weeks, now, and I know I’m going to miss the joy and wonder they bring into our lives when they leave, soon! 👼 👼
