Tuna & Ice Cream 🍦
Today, the kiddies behaved (1 year nephew & 2 year niece). To bribe them - for eating their food and not throwing too many tantrums— we offered ice cream after lunch.
A new ice cream store opened down the street & the adults needed a break/treat, too 🤗
For lunch, I fixed a quick, delicious tuna salad sandwich: with Mayo, lemon, olive oil, diced onions, spices, cheese and salad. When my tuna creation was done, I laid out the condiments: pesto, mustard and raw honey 🍯 Voila
Kids gobbled it up & I even prepared homemade French fries in our air fryer.
Now, it was nap time…
Following that sacred hour of peace & calm (during which I also take a siesta) we crossed the street for some … you guessed it … frozen sugar relief 😅
Everyone picked their own flavors & cones, no two were the same — except one of the kiddies & I who both got a scoop of birthday cake ice cream 🎂
