Day 2 at the Farm in Colombia 🇨🇴
In the evening, after organizing our new home at the farm, we took a little walk to the neighborhood bar.
The sun was setting and it was a fairly short walk. To my surprise, this young black dog (a stray?) took a shining time me and wanted to play!
I think dogs read energy well & it could see that I thought it was cute. At any rate, it followed me to the bar and sat at my feet :)
After a couple of drinks, we headed back in the dark, by the light of my iPhone —jumping over creeks & careful not to lose our footing.

The farmers told us to make sure there was no food sitting on low tables as dogs might pass by the farm at night, hunting for it, so we put all our fruits and vegetables on top of the fridge!
You live and learn …
We slept so-so our first night, adjusting to the omnipresent mosquitos 🦟 and sounds around us, but the morning was glorious.
Overhead, giant birds glided by and I caught this eagle snacking on a snake, as I had my breakfast 😯
