Flowers at our farm in Colombia
Flowers like butterflies, here in Colombia, and bees 🐝 the size of hummingbirds. It’s an enchanted world, here in our small farm in Medellin.
But, even Paradise requires work, read pruning, and this is what we were doing this morning, with the palm trees 🌴
We managed to create a compost heap, where I carry all the branches, and dump our food waste, to enrich the soil down the line,
I’m a city boy, and lead a largely sedentary life (as reader and writer) but it’s rewarding to connect with nature and to see her gratitude for our efforts, as she smiles upon us with her blooming flowers.
As I mentioned earlier, everything is wondrous here … the soil is ambitious and life forms are vital and exotic, in comparison to what I’m used to.
