This time, I want to show you how I transformed this simple bottle into a cute house that can be used as decoration or as a toy for children (if you use a plastic bottle, since glass can be dangerous if it breaks).

En esta ocasión quiero enseñarles cómo transformé esta simple botella en una linda casa que puede ser usada como decoración o como juguete para los niños (si se utiliza una botella plástica, ya que de cristal puede ser peligroso si esta se rompe).

🍾Step by step // Paso a paso🍾

The most important thing is the bottle, whether it's plastic or glass, as this is the base of the structure, although glass is more stable, as it acts as a counterweight. On a piece of cardboard, mark half the circumference of the bottle's base and complete the figure shown here with the corresponding dimensions. Make two pieces of each size. This will be the roof of the house. Then glue the two largest pieces diagonally to the center of the bottle's body and the two smaller ones to the neck.

Lo más importante es la botella, no importa si es plástica o de cristal, ya que esta es la base de la estructura, aunque de cristal tiene más firmeza, pues hace contrapeso. En un cartón, marcar la mitad de la circunferencia de la base de la botella y completar la figura que aquí les muestro con las dimensiones correspondientes. Se elaboran dos piezas de cada tamaño. For the roof, I removed the top layer of thick cardboard so the corrugated part would resemble tiles. For the walls on the first floor of the house, I cut 1.5 cm wide strips of cardboard and glued them together, leaving a few mm between each strip.

I started by painting the ceiling first in a light blue, and the door and windows in a slightly darker shade of blue. Then, using green paint, I painted the base to make it look like the grassy ground.

I painted all the walls of the house, including the fireplace, a light orange, and I painted the front window frame and the door boards a dark brown. With a half-dry brush, I added shadows next to the frames and the partitions between the boards and gently brushed over all the walls to give visibility to the texture I created.

Todas las paredes de la casa, incluyendo la chimenea, las pinté de un color naranja claro y con un tono marrón oscuro pinté el marco de la ventana frontal y las tablas de la puerta. I used moldable foam to make the decorations to add beauty to the design. I started by making long strips of small green leaves to create vines. I placed the larger leaves on the ceiling, then used red and pink foam to make pretty flowers.

Con foami moldeable hice las decoraciones para aportarle belleza al diseño. Comencé haciendo unas tiras largas y pequeñas hojas de color verde para hacer unas enredaderas. Las hojas más grandes las situé en el techo para luego con foami de color rojo y rosa hacer unas lindas flores.

With white moldable foam I made the frame of the two circular windows.

And this is how this beautiful house-shaped bottle is finished. You can see how a simple object becomes a wonderful creation if made with love and lots of patience. It took me two days to finish it, and my fingers were already hurting from cutting strips of cardboard. But in the end, I loved the result; it was worth it. I hope you like it.
