Hello, Holozing community, today I want to show you a new fan art, this time dedicated to Noxic. I confess that this is one of the embroideries that has taken me the most work, because as you can see, it's done entirely with a hand needle and with few threads, which means more care and dedication.

I wanted to make it as similar as possible to maintain the character's unique characteristics, so I looked for the most appropriate thread colors and tried to do the smallest details, like the claws, even if they're not visible to the naked eye.

I always say that doing small embroideries is even more difficult, because on large canvases I have more space to make lines that in small spaces don't make any sense. But you might wonder, why don't I make it bigger? Because the inflation in my country's economy doesn't allow me to spend a lot of money on threads that are quite expensive. But anyway, that's another story.

Hola, comunidad Holozing, hoy quiero mostrarles un nuevo fanart, esta vez dedicado a Noxic. Les confieso que este es uno de los bordados que más trabajo me ha dado, pues como ven, está realizado totalmente con aguja de mano y con pocas hebras, lo que significa más cuidado y dedicación.

Quise hacerlo lo más parecido posible para mantener las características propias del personaje, por lo que busqué los colores de hilo más apropiados e intenté hacer los detalles más insignificantes, como las garras, aunque no se aprecien a simple vista.

Siempre digo que hacer bordados pequeños es aún más difícil, pues en lienzos grandes tengo más espacio para hacer líneas que en espacios reducidos no tienen lógica alguna, pero se preguntarán ¿por qué no lo hago más grande?, porque la inflación de la economía de mi país no me permite gastar mucho dinero en hilos que son bastante caros. Pero bueno, esa es otra historia.

🦋Step by step // Paso a paso🦋

On a sheet of paper, I drew the character to transfer onto the fabric. For this step, place the fabric underneath, the carbon paper in the middle, and the sheet of paper on top, positioning it in its proper place. Being very careful not to move the sheet or the fabric, go over all the lines, applying a little pressure with the pencil to improve the look. When you're done, as you'll notice, it looks a little light, so you should go over the entire design again with a pen to improve the visibility of the drawing; otherwise, it could become blurred with your hands.

En una hoja de papel dibujé al personaje para transferirlo en la tela. Para este paso se coloca la tela debajo, el papel carbón en el medio y encima la hoja de papel, ubicándola en el lugar correspondiente. Con mucho cuidado de no mover la hoja ni la tela, se repasan todas las líneas presionando un poco el lápiz para que quede mucho mejor. Al terminar cómo apreciarán, se ve un poco claro, por lo que se debe volver a pasar por todo el diseño con un bolígrafo para mejorar la visibilidad del dibujo, de lo contrario podría ir borrándose con la manipulación de las manos.

I started with pink and a fine needle, as the pieces in this color are quite small. I used only one strand of thread.

Comencé con el color rosa y una aguja fina, ya que las partes de este color son bastante pequeñas. Para ello utilicé solo una hebra de hilo.

I continued with a reddish-brown shade to make parts of the wings, arms, and legs, just like in the original image of the character. I used two strands of yarn in this shade because I wanted it to be thicker and more voluminous. Then I realized I had missed the claws with the pink shade, so I proceeded to do them.

Continué con un tono rojo marrón para hacer partes de las alas y los brazos y piernas, tal y como está en la imagen original del personaje. Utilicé 2 hebras de hilo con este tono porque quería que quedara más tupido y con mayor volumen. Luego me di cuenta de que con el tono rosa me había faltado hacer las garras y procedí a hacerlas.

With a light yellow thread, I embroidered the rest of the body, the tips of the legs, as well as the lines in between them.

Con un hilo amarillo claro, bordé el resto del cuerpo, la punta de las patas, así como las líneas intermedias de estas.

The rest of the wings are green and orange. I also used two strands of thread to give the same volume. I always stitched in the same direction to make it look even more beautiful.

El resto de las alas son de color verde y naranja. También usé dos hebras de hilo para que quedara igual de volumen. Siempre bordando en la misma dirección para que se vea mucho más bonito.

Finally, I embroidered with the black thread, which would be the lower parts of the wings, and a middle section that I'd left at the top. Here again, I only used two strands of thread. It's worth noting that the embroidery thread that comes in skeins has six strands, so I only cut a piece and separate the strands according to the amount I need.

Por último, bordé con el hilo negro, que serían las partes inferiores de las alas, y una parte intermedia que había dejado el espacio en la parte superior. Allí también utilicé solo 2 hebras de hilo. Cabe destacar que el hilo de bordar que viene en madejas trae 6 hebras, por lo que solo corto un pedazo y voy separando las hebras según la cantidad que necesite.
