GOOD NEWS STILL FIND ITS WAY___LOH#296

There are times when I wonder if good news has forgotten my address. As a student, there are always so many things to think about—school work, assignments, examinations, finances, and planning for the future. Sometimes it feels like one worry replaces another.

Recently, I received a small piece of good news that made me smile. It wasn't anything huge, but it reminded me that little victories matter too. I was finally able to submit my application for my Industrial Training (IT) placement. It had been on my mind for weeks because I kept wondering where I would be accepted and whether everything would work out.

After submitting my application, I felt relieved. Even though I'm still waiting for a response, I was happy because I had taken the first step instead of worrying endlessly. Sometimes we spend so much time overthinking that we forget progress begins with action.

If I'm being honest, the kind of good news I would love to receive right now is a call telling me that I've been accepted for my IT placement. As a Geology student, I know how important this stage is. I want to learn practical skills, gain experience, and prepare myself for the future. Receiving that acceptance would take a huge weight off my shoulders.

Another piece of good news that would make me happy is knowing that all my hard work will eventually pay off. Whether it's in school, my online activities, or the opportunities I'm working toward, I hope one day I'll look back and be grateful that I didn't give up.

Life may not always give us good news when we expect it, but I've learned that hope is worth holding onto. Sometimes the blessing arrives later than we planned, but right on time according to God's plan.
