Hello, great warriors of Splinterlands, I hope you all are doing good and enjoying your day. Today I am again here sharing my entry for the BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge "Ruleset: Fire & Regret" which is offered by @splinterlands. You can also participate in this weekly challenge, to know more about how to participate in this challenge visit this link.

About: Fire & Regret Ruleset:

Fire & Regret is a ruleset in Splinterlands battles in which all monsters receive the Return Fire ability at the start of the battle. Enemy monsters that attack with ranged attacks receive damage back.
- Damage returned is equal to damage of the attacker divided by 2, rounded up.
- Ranged attack units with the Reflection Shield ability do not take damage from reflected magic attacks.
- The Amplify ability increases damage.

Battle Summoner

image.png

For this battle, I have chosen the Summoner, LOBB LOWLAND, which is a rare Earth Splinter Summoner that costs 6 mana and has 2 abilities. This Summoner's abilities are to decrease the speed of the enemy team monsters by -1, and also, I can use 1 Gladius edition card under it. I have upgraded it to level 5 and use it most of the time because of the Gladius card Quora that I use under ranked battles. I selected this Summoner for this battle because Quora was available, and I wanted to use it in this battle. Currently, I have this summoner at level 5 and under this Summoner, I can use up to level 6 common cards.

1. UNICORN MUSTANG:

In the first position of my battle lineup, I have the "UNICORN MUSTANG" monster. It is a rare melee attack monster from the Earth Splinter and it belongs to the untamed edition. It costs 8 mana and has a -3 melee attack. At level 1, it possesses a Void ability. I placed it in the first position due to its high speed, -3 melee attack, and Void ability. Currently, I have upgraded it to level 2 and its health has increased from 10 to 11. Although I don't usually use it in my battles, I sometimes have to rely on it when no other monster is available.

2. QUORA TOWERSHEAD:

In the second position, I chose to use QUORA TOWERSHEAD, which is an Epic melee-magic attack monster from the Earth Splinter monster from the Gladius edition. It costs 10 mana and does a -2 melee and -2 magic attack. At level 1, it possesses the Heal and Bloodlust abilities. I have upgraded it to level 3, and it has gained an additional ability called "Immune". During the battle, I used it because it has the Immune ability, and also it will gain two more abilities Return Fire and Thorn from the battle ruleset so it will become more powerful. Currently, I have this monster at level 3 and most of the time I am using it in my battles.

3. GOBLIN PSYCHIC:

In the third position, I used GOBLIN PSYCHIC which is a chaos legion edition common magic attack monster from the Earth splinter. It costs 6 mana, does a -2 magic attack, and has one ability Tank Heal at level 1. I have upgraded it to level 4 for the Affliction ability. I used it in this battle and in the third position because of its Tank Heal ability which will recover the health of the monster in the first position. Currently, I have this monster at level 4 and it works fine for me.

4. GELATINOUS CUBE:

In the fourth position, I used GELATINOUS CUBE which is a common reward edition No-attack monster from the Neutral Splinter. It costs 6 mana, has no attack, and only one ability Scavenger at level 1. I have upgraded it to level level 6 in which it gains one more ability Heal. I used it in this battle and in the fourth position because of its Scavenger and Heal abilities. I don't use it much in my battles.

5. AVA THE UNDAUNTED:

In the fifth position, I used AVA THE UNDAUNTED which is a reward edition Legendary range attack monster from the Earth Splinter. It costs 8 mana, does a -3 range attack, and has a Weapon Training ability at level 1. I used it in the fifth position and in this battle because of its high-range attack. Currently, I have this monster at level 1 and it works great for me.

6. CLOCKWORK AIDE:

In the last position, I used CLOCKWORK AIDE which is a reward edition an Epic No-attack monster from the Neutral Splinter. It costs 4 mana, does no attack, and has only one ability Swiftness at level 1. I have got it at level 2 from the last season's end chests. I used it in the last position because it will gain the thorn ability from the ruleset so I used it for the Sneak monsters.
