Isla D Bantayan

You know, I consider myself quite fortunate to have the opportunity to visit Bantayan Island, especially because I get to do so for free. I'm always grateful to my sister for bringing me along whenever they travel on a tour so I could see some of the cities I've never been to. I feel privileged. Char 😅

I was thrilled to finally be able to visit Bantayan Island and its renowned Virgin Island, where some of the scenes from the film Camp Sawi were filmed. We stayed their for 2 days and 1 night, I will surely gonna visit it again sometime soon.

We proceeded to Cou Cou Bar in Santa Fe for lunch after reaching Bantayan Island. I adore the look of their bar, and they have a really courteous staff and a tidy space. They have billiards, so you might also use your leisure time there.

Pork Sinigang, Chicken Cordon Bleu and Sisig. PANLASANg Pinoy🙂

Here I am seated among my sister's nice police officers. Being one of them is one of my dream jobs, but life prevented it from happening. Nevertheless, I have no regrets in life.

We were the first guests at the establishment when we got on the island, and despite the fact that they were still cleaning and getting ready to open, they welcomed and served us.

FB_IMG_1666254171606.jpg

We had to first rent motorcycles so we could simply and freely wander the city before we could move on to our next destination.

Omageica Mangrove Eco Park

We pass by Omageica Mangrove Eco Park, which features a bamboo path that winds through the mangroves and provides a pleasant stroll with great photo ops. The Camp Sawi movie includes a scene from this location.

Additionally, you can go kayaking or take a small boat tour of the mangroves. Below are the fees :

Entrance Fee: 50 pesos per head for Adults
Children : 20 pesos
Kayaking : 150 pesos

FB_IMG_1666254235520.jpg

The restaurant in the Eco Park is situated directly on the water, providing a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant is open daily from 9 am to 8 pm, however when we visited there, it was unavailable.

But no worries at all since we already eat. It is fine with us to stroll around the bamboo bridge with lots of greenery, it is refreshing to connect to nature.

I was here

Bontay Baywalk

We visited Madridejo's Bontay Boardwalk while in Barangay Lawis. One of the Island's intriguing pleasures is it. The 187-meter footbridge is located in Kota Park. This bay promenade links the shore to a magnificent balcony with views of the Visayan Sea. They also have a beautiful dawn and a magnificent sunset in this location, but we don't have time to remain for too long because we have another site to see.

We are the Four Musketeers charoot, and even though it was just the four of us, we had a great time while visiting the lovely Island.

Bantayan Island Nature Park Resort

We've reached the end of our day's travels, we spent the night here. Despite how remote the location is, the effort was worthwhile.

FB_IMG_1666253711397.jpg

Additionally, there is a Santo Niño in the cave where it is said that the water can heal ailments. We went down to show our respect. The water is cold and clear.

FB_IMG_1666255015477.jpg

FB_IMG_1666255029372.jpg

FB_IMG_1666255023310.jpg

It's quite scary though looking at it outside, it is said to be mysterious since the water inside could heal such illness, that's what the attendant said.

FB_IMG_1666255072925.jpg

FB_IMG_1666255065105.jpg

You can actually take a bath here the water is cold though, you can meditate here whenever you wanted, if you wanted to have a time for your own, this place is perfect since it's very peaceful.

SWIMMING TIME

After a long ride, it's time to unwind by spending the night and chatting with my colleagues. Swimming at night is more nicer than swimming in the morning, although it depends on how you feel.

FB_IMG_1666254928297.jpg

FB_IMG_1666254980305.jpg

On this leaf, I just so chance to spot a green grasshopper. This was the largest grasshoper I had ever seen, which amazed me.

Virgin Island

Due to its gorgeous white sand beaches and beautiful waters, the virgin island is a well-liked Bantayan Island tourist destination. Virgin Island Bantayan is a must-see location to include on your itinerary for Northern Cebu since there are activities to enjoy all throughout the island, from snorkeling and swimming to cliff jumping and coastal hikes.

IMG20161015111522~01.jpg

You'll need to ride a pumpboat to reach Virgin Island on our route there. I'm quite happy that I can finally cross this item off my bucket list.

At Virgin Island Bantayan, the time from our visit renting a boat for up to 5 hours costs for only 1000 PHP, which can be divided among your group if there are a few of you.

Entry costs would be :

The first two people in your party must pay an additional entrance fee of 250 PHP, and each subsequent guest in your group must pay 200 PHP once you get on Virgin Island. Although it's a little complicated, in general, more is better

We have to take a selfie first since we are on the renowned Prune Island.

Despite having a well-known white sand beach, they are also renowned for having the cheapest seafood, such as crabs and shells.

IMG20161015120155.jpg

I could never get enough of finishing my photos. I enjoy having more pictures so I have something to look at.

Are you one of those people that develops and keeps photos and albums them? I'll join in.

In the municipality of Santa Fe, Virgin Island is located just offshore of Bantayan Island. You can make travel arrangements through your lodging or go to the port in Santa Fe, where tour operators will be on hand to help.

2016-10-15_10.47.24_2.jpg

Hello, I'm your lifeguard, and I'm prepared to help. Joking aside, I'm not much of a saver because I always get cramps after spending too much time in the water.

I think I'm getting old haha, but I could proudly boast that I have already prevented two individuals from drowning. One in Santiago Beach and on our sea side.

2016-10-15_10.46.33_2.jpg

FB_IMG_1666241220972.jpg

Since there aren't any other guests on the island, the area at the back is likewise fairly quiet when we travel there.

Despite the fact that we live near the coast, I still find it amazing to see the various aquatic bodies here.

Sorry for the Talikodgenic post, the best pose when you are not that beautiful. Hahaha. Well whatever they say, enjoying my beach life here as usual.

Beaches are my favorite spot to visit out of all the places I've been, and I can't wait to see more of the world and share my adventures with you.

I hope to see you soon and appreciate you taking the time to read my blog. Ciao😘
