Filling my hands with more Charcoal

Hello my friends! And dear community!!!

Today there was a lot of sun, a lot of heat, and the electricity went out again so I tried something with Charcoal.

I wanted something dark, I haven't done many men but this time I wanted to make a male figure, although I didn't want it to be so detailed either, just add a few features. I'm sorry for showing so much darkness, my heart has been somewhat delicate lately.

Something that happens to me with Charcoal is that it is not like graphite, well, that is what I feel, the first one comes off the canvas easily and the second, it has happened to me that I draw them that I have made and I have kept them and although I was CAUTIOUSSSsssss 😥😮🤣 because I thought they would be erased or stained, no, in fact it didn't happen like that.

Charcoal seems to me to be more delicate and can be "cleaned" or completely removed something easily. So I have to be more careful, although of course if you want to delete small things, use the special eraser for that, as my friend @litguru told me in the post about my first Charcoal.

To kick off this drawing, I grabbed a couple of things:

  • A charcoal stick.
  • A canvas for pastel chalks.(I should try other canvases and papers I have, to see how the Charcoal looks)

There are not many materials ☺️

With the help of a small blade I put something on the charcoal, with my hand I made a base.
I filled my hands with black hahahaha

I wanted to make some darkness in this drawing and that even though there weren't so many details marked, things could still be seen a little.

To continue with my work I was making some stripes, of all the drawings I have made in Charcoal and Graphite this is the freest one I have made, Besides the fact that I didn't make sketches like in all the other drawings, when I was drawing I felt a lot of Freedom 🤣 It's pretty good because you don't feel pressure.😍

-.-

As I progressed, I was just adding a few more details to the piece. You can see some features of the face but there was nothing so detailed yet.

-.-

In the previous Charcoal post I commented on how to erase, since a normal eraser is no match for Charcoal 🤣. I haven't gotten the eraser Prisma yet and in this drawing I didn't need it because I wanted to fill everything with charcoal 😝 get my hands full of charcoal and there was no need to clean up 😅

-.-

After I was happy with what I had done, I took a photo and entered Corel to make some adjustments. Color, shine and more, some little things to finish 😊🙂

Thanks to everyone for watching my post, and have a happy and beautiful weekend

Often art is a catharsis of what's inside us and that's good, it's healthy, that's why I see this drawing as something that's inside you, it's dark, it hurts but you have to shut it up.

It's interesting what you have achieved, I like it a lot, it reflects pain.

The charcoal is complicated, I used a spray fixative on top so that it wouldn't rub off and it worked very well.

A big hug!😀
