Mantaroth - Splinterlands Art Contest Week 266

Hello and Good morning, Good afternoon or Good night! my dear Hivers!!! πππ and warm greetings to all of you who are fans of the #Splinterlands game. I hope you are having a beautiful moment.
I want to show you the drawing that I have created for the Splinterlands Art contest
I suppose that by now, you have seen some of the characters from the new Rebellion packs, I haven't seen them all yet but thanks to a nice and kind boy he introduced me to some characters, so for this week this will be my first Rebellion character here.

Last week I did Fabino for social media but I loved this character since I saw him although I don't have much experience with his species, I tried to do the best I could, I hope he hasn't turned out so ugly ππ.
If you saw my Splinterlands Social Media Challenge post a few days ago you will have noticed that I have placed a lot of images there. In addition to that, you will know what this image represents.
If you haven't seen it, well that's fine you won't miss much (Lie) lol a lot of words, a lot of drawings and I ahah, well go see (Better) hahaha.
I have rescued this image from there because it means the origin of many years ago, I mark a before and after

Of those new designs, this one was good and interesting. By the way, I made a video for this one but I have to edit it, although you will still see the images.ππ€
I made a sketch of what I was roughly looking for so I could go from there, based on the reference , it wasn't something so pretty but it was always functional.
I have not gone for the grays and at once I have only placed a base of what the colors would be. I was working with 2 layers, one for the character and the background, the other layer being the sketch.
I was detailing things little by little, the lineart in some parts was getting lost, I hadn't done anything with the background or the face yet, I would take care of that in a moment.
As I progressed, I completed more and more, and at this step I already had the sketch quite hidden since I made a layer on top of it and drew on that, until finally it was practically hidden and I collapsed all the layers.
Until the previous step I was at Corel, then I decided to go to PS, there I worked on other things and there was also something about it that I wasn't liking so I made a few changes until I was a little happier, I worked a little on the face too.
I completed some things that were missing like the axe, the background, I also detailed the armor a little more.
Well compared to the previous one it was a little better, but some things were missing... π₯΅π³
To finish I kept changing one and a thousand things, in addition to modifying the background a little, I also added some texture to the armor, well and other little things to finally finish this drawing. I hope you liked my new work and I'll see you tomorrow, my dear Hivers!
