Underboss Fabino - Splinterlands Social Media Challenge/ Rebellion

I want to show you the drawing that I have created for the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge
As you already know or if you are not aware of the new Rebellion Packs (I think everyone knows, if not, you weren't here? hahaa) they started their pre-sale less than a month ago and regarding all this fact, the theme for social networks is something about Rebellion. ๐ฎ๐คฏ๐ฅณ๐ฅณ๐บ๐บ๐บ
Unfortunately I haven't played for a while so my content for this contest is what I know most about, drawing, maybe one day I'll do a Cosplay, while that happens. I must thank a friend who was very kind to me and shared some of the new designs with me so I will be able to participate this week in the contest, so good thanks to him, today this publication will see the light and several more.

Going back to the most important thing, this boss looks scary , my version was a little sweeter, I should have changed that, but it's already quite late and we have to sleep.

I still don't have a description of this character but from the new designs I saw I preferred to do this one, it reminds me a little of those mafia bosses.
Of those new designs that I saw, there is one that seems more interesting to me and that I will be doing in the next few weeks. By the way, for this one I made a video, part of the process was recorded on video, another in images, as you know, well, well, the electricity is always so beautiful.
I made a rough sketch of what the character would be, based on the reference.
The next thing was to make a base with the colors, after I had this step ready, I wanted to do it with a value scale but then I decided and continued with the colors, again in Corel Painter.
I was detailing little by little what the face would be, I started with that, mmm sometimes I left it for the end, actually because well, this is just a portrait so, what else to do, haah.
As I progressed I completed more and more, btw the sketch is still there, it was just that it was quite clear and I practically left it until the end because as it was not so noticeable, the truth did not get in my way.
Having the Boss's face a little better defined, I dedicated myself to improving other things, the truth is that this character, or rather this portrait, could have been better, I am certainly not the last lemonade in the desert but I still believe that even though there are Things that I could change myself now that it is ready, there are also some small details in which I have improved and that is good.
Something was missing and it was a little more depth, those walls next to him were eating him alive, so I made a slightly different environment, in addition to continuing to accentuate some more things.
To finish this portrait I did the hand I was missing, adding some other details, some light, a little more rendering and finally it was ready, although now that I see it I think a little more evil would have been better, Noted For next time, I don't know what's wrong with me that I make the characters less evil. the truth is that I like it better when I start like this, it's like a real canvas ahahah, Corel Painter is something similar to that, most of the time in a single layer, many layers drive me crazy , unless it is some adjustments

Yeah your progress really looks like done on real canvas.
For me, i feels like working in layers safes me quite some time.
The great thing about drawing/painting is that you can have different approaches and therefore always learn something new from others ๐๐
