Beauty and the Beast, the dog version. / La Bella y La Bestia, versión perruna. [ENG/ESP]

I know I've posted quite a bit about how my two current dogs, Angela and Oddie, are completely different, so here are some photos that prove it beyond a doubt. Look, I came here wanting to make a video and take some pretty nice photos for social media, so I grabbed my sunglasses and put them on my little black girl (Angela). At first, she was a bit uncomfortable, but then she let me, and I took some incredible and beautiful photos of her. She's such a diva and princess; she knows she's beautiful both physically and in her behavior. I must admit she's the best dog, companion, and daughter in the world. I never have any complaints about her—well, that's a lie. There is one: when she's stressed and barking at the slightest noise, especially in the early hours of the morning. But I just tell her to be quiet, and that's it, problem solved, sometimes.
Okay, with the bold one and her photos, now came the Terminator, the beast of the beast, and well, I couldn't even get a good picture. He didn't take his glasses off for a second. On top of that, when he goes to the porch, I don't know what the heck happens there, but he has to pee on it. So, besides not being able to take good pictures, I got covered in pee. My God, it's incredible how wild my baby is. Further evidence of his wildness are the following photos, where he's pulling my hair and I'm begging for his affection. Because yes, friends, I'm a sucker for this dog who I supposedly have since he was a baby. He doesn't like affection much, unless he feels like it and whenever he damn well pleases.
Well, to test the selfie tripod I bought, I started taking some photos with them. Oddie came along and miraculously didn't knock my poor phone over. He kept biting me, of course, not for long, but he didn't let me get a single good shot. With Angela, I did manage a few, since she also wanted to play, so I gave up and just took a few random photos. Therefore, we consider ourselves to have a canine version of Beauty and the Beast. All I want is for Oddie to improve his temperament a bit and let us do things for his own good, and not suddenly turn into Chucky or become psychopathic. I mean, he's sweet when he wants to be and doesn't cause major disasters, just the occasional mischief, but generally speaking, he doesn't turn the house upside down and behaves well when left alone for a while. But yes, he is indeed rough, he doesn't like me doing anything to him, he's super possessive of my things and tries to bite, something we were working on, along with other details that I'm teaching him as I learn. Every dog is different, and Oddie came across with a behavior I've never seen in any of the dogs I've had. Even so, I want him to improve in these areas, and it's my role as his owner to make it possible.

Ya sé que he publicado bastante de como los dos perros que tengo actualmente, Angela y Oddie, son totalmente diferentes, pues aquí les vengo con fotos que lo prueban sin duda alguna; miren, vengo yo, por querer hacer un video y unos fotos bastantes bonitas para las redes sociales, pues agarré mis lentes de sol y se los pongo a la negrita (Angela), ella al principio estaba un poco incomoda, pero luego se dejo y le tomé unas increíbles y hermosas fotos, toda una diva y princesa que es, ella sabe que es una belleza tanto física como de comportamiento, debo admitir que es la mejor perrita, compañera e hija del mundo, nunca tengo quejas de ella, bueno, mentira, si hay una, cuando anda de estresada y ladrando por cualquier mínima bulla, más aun en horas de madrugada, pero solo la mando a callar y listo, todo arreglado, a veces.
Listo con la negrita y sus fotos, ahora venia el terminator, la bestia de la bestia y pues, ni una foto buena pude obtener, no se dejo los lentes ni un segundo, aunado de eso, cuando el va para el porche no sé que rayos pasa en ese lugar que tiene que orinárselo, así que, además de que no pude tomar buenas fotos, me llené de orine, Dios mío, resulta increíble lo salvajito que es mi bebé. Otra evidencia de que es salvaje, son las siguientes fotos, en donde me esta jalando el cabello y yo mendigando su amor, porque si amigos, soy migajera de este perro que se supone lo tengo de bebé, no le gusta mucho los cariños, al menos que a él le de la gana y en el momento que le de la regalada gana.
Bueno, para probar el trípode selfie que me compré, empecé a tomar unas fotos con ellos, pues vino el Oddie de milagro no me tumba mi pobre celular, me mordía, claro no duro, pero no dejaba ni una sola buena toma, con Angela si logré unas que otras, ya que también estaba queriendo jugar, por lo que caí rendida y solo tomé fotos unas que otras al alzar. Por ello, tomamos consideramos que tenemos a la bella y a la bestia versión perruna, lo único que quiero es que Oddie mejore un poco su carácter y se deje hacer las cosas por su bien, y no le entre el Chucky o la psicopatía de repente, ósea, el es dulce cuando se lo propone y no hace desastre a niveles altos, unas que otras travesuras, pero en termino generales, no es de dejar la casa patas arriba y se porta bien cuando se quedan un rato solo, pero si, efectivamente es brusco, no le gusta que le haga nada, es super celoso con mis cosas y tira morder, algo que estábamos trabajando y otros detalles, que a medida que voy aprendiendo, le voy enseñando a él, cada perro es distinto y Oddie me toco con un comportamiento que nunca había pasado en los perros que he tenido, aun así, quiero que el mejore esos aspectos y es mi papel como dueña hacerlo posible.

Yeah, you’re right. It’s your role to help him grow, and the fact that you’re reflecting on his behavior and actively teaching him shows you’re committed. Dogs like Oddie, who challenge us more, often end up teaching us patience and creativity in return.
