Greetings @hivepets community, in a previous post I told you that Hercules I had to take him to the doctor for a strange swelling in the part of his abdomen that, in the end turned out to be a small tumor and that, the doctor had sent him a purple cream which he would have to apply twice a day for a week, so I did, and halfway through that week, his improvement was remarkable, that little ball that had seemed to him, was gradually reducing its size.
So I took him back, as the doctor had told me to do, and then I took a kitten from the lady who helps rescue or treat animals from the street or in a situation of mistreatment. This kitten, named Thiago, was rescued a few months ago, in terrible conditions, malnourished, with a paw that was hanging and with a swollen tail and a swollen pee-pee. She was able to recover him, she had him undergo surgery on his paw, where he was put a guardian for a while and had him neutered.
The lady went to Chile, supposedly to spend two months with her daughters and due to problems, which I will tell you later, the cat got lost and after a few days he appeared and was left under my care and I asked her permission to take him to the doctor because I did not see any improvement in the pee-pee area and she gave me her permission.
When we arrived at the vet, we were waiting for the doctor to attend on a first come first served basis, but Hercules was very restless, he was crying, he did his needs many times. We went inside the office, while the previous patient was finishing; Hercules of course knew where he was going and did not want to enter, I had to drag him, they cut the nails of his paws, which was a process that even knocked me down, since I had to get on top of him to cut them. And it was crying and crying and riding on two legs on my body, you can imagine the size and weight of it compared to my body and height.
Basically, he was in pain, because the boy knew he was going to be injected and he made a drama😒. Everyone at the vet asked him what was wrong and he with his dramatic face and by the way, Thiago also meowing, a whole scandal had both of them. At first they are like that, a fear and anger to the doctor, and then end up loving him, because that was my Chloe and a little dog, that the owner always says that he hated the doctor and would bite him, you could see him now, he can't see him, he goes out of his way for him.
Anyway, the doctor made fun of him, making fun of him, pretending it was his thoughts, saying that this foolish man is coming to give me a hard time and things like that. Well, thank God, he found it very well, he is not going to resort to surgery, the treatment was effective and it was detected in time, I will just take him again in 15 days.

When we finished with Hercules, it was Thiago's turn, and the doctor began to tell me that this one was going to require more revision and that he did not like what he saw, that it was not serious, but that it required patience and to be taking him. I cleaned that area of the pee-pee and sent him the same purple cream of Hercules, linked with another, and that he should clean it and pass a thin layer of that cream and wait for it to dry, that if he licked a lot, he would have to resort to the Elizabethan collar, possibly.
I have to take him back in 3 days to see how he is reacting to the cream, I told the owner about it and a whole scenario was set up; she calmed down when the doctor explained everything in detail. She will be back soon and I hope Thiago gets better and is saved.
Anyway, I am very thankful that Hercules has reacted well to the treatment and the tumor is almost gone. Always be on the lookout for any physical and compartment changes in your pets, even the slightest, before it is too late. It is better to be safe than sorry; having taken complete care of mine, I have been very fastidious about it and any changes I see in them, I ask the doctor at once. Saludos comunidad de @hivepets, en un anterior post les comenté que Hércules lo tuve que llevar al médico por un extraño hinchado en la parte de su abdomen que, al final resultó ser un pequeño tumor y que, el doctor le había mandado una crema morada la cual tendría que aplicársela dos veces al día, durante una semana, pues así hice, y a mitad de esa semana, su mejoría era notable, esa bolita que le había parecido, poco a poco fue reduciendo su tamaño.
Así que lo lleve de nuevo, como el mismo médico me había indicado y en eso, aproveche y lleve un gatito de la señora que ayudo a rescatar o tratar animales de la calle o en situación de maltrato. Ese gatito de nombre Thiago, fue rescatado hace unos meses, en pésimas condiciones, desnutrido, con una pata que le guindaba y por la parte de su rabo y pipi hinchado. Ella logro recuperarlo, le mando hacer una cirugía en la pata, donde le pusieron un tutor por un tiempo y lo mando a castrar.
La señora se fue a Chile, para pasar supuestamente dos meses con sus hijas y por problemas, que más adelante se los contaré, el gato se perdió y después de unos días apareció y quedo bajo mi cuidado y pues, le pedí permiso de llevarlo al médico porque no le veía mejoría en la zona del pipi y ella me dio su permiso.
Al llegar al veterinario, estuvimos esperando a que el doctor atendiera por orden de llegada, pero Hércules estaba muy inquieto, lloraba, hizo muchas veces sus necesidades. Entramos dentro del consultorio, mientras terminaba el anterior paciente; Hércules por supuesto sabia donde iba y no quería entrar, tuve que arrastrarlo, le cortaron las uñas de sus patas, el cual fue un proceso que incluso me tumbo, ya que tuve que montarme encima de él para lograr cortárselas. Y era llorar y llorar y montarse en dos patas en mi cuerpo, se imaginarán el tamaño y peso del mismo en comparación de mi cuerpo y estatura.
Básicamente estaba pasando pena, porque el niño sabia que lo iban a inyectar y armó un drama😒. Todos en la veterinaria le preguntaban que qué le pasaba y el con su cara de drama y de paso, Thiago también maullando, todo un escándalo tenía ambos. Al principio son así, un miedo y rabia al doctor, para después terminar amándolo, porque así era mi Chloe y un perrito, que el dueño siempre cuenta que odiaba al doctor y lo tiraba a morder, lo vieran ahorita, no puede verlo, se desvive por él.
En fin, el doctor le hizo cariño y burlándose de él, haciendo como si fuesen los pensamientos de él, diciendo que este señor necio viene a meterme una puya y cosas así. Pues, gracias a Dios, lo encontró muy bien, no va a recurrir a cirugía, el tratamiento hizo efecto y se detectó a tiempo, solo que lo lleve de nuevo dentro de 15 días.
ANTES / DESPUÉS
Al terminar con Hércules, tocó el turno de Thiago, y el doctor me empieza a decir, que este va a requerir más revisión y que no le gustaba lo que veía, que no era grave, pero que si requería paciencia y estar llevándolo. Le limpio esa zona del pipi y le mando la misma crema morada de Hércules, ligada con otra, y que se lo limpiara y le pasara una capa fina de esa crema y esperara que se secara, que, si se lamia mucho, había que recurrir al collar isabelino, posiblemente.
Tengo que volver a llevarlo dentro de 3 días y así vemos cómo va reaccionando a la crema, se lo comenté a la dueña y se armó todo un escenario; se calmó cuando el doctor le explico a detalle todo. Ella pronto se regresa y espero que Thiago mejore y se salve.
En fin, tengo mucho que agradecer que Hércules ha reaccionado bien al tratamiento y el tumor ya casi esta desapareciendo. Siempre estén al pendiente de cualquier cambio físico y de compartimiento en sus mascotas, así sea mínimo, antes de que sea demasiado tarde. Es mejor prevenir que lamentar; al tener el completo cuidado de los míos, he sido muy maniática al respecto y cualquier cambio que veo en ellos, de una le pregunto al doctor. Que sus mascotas se mantengan saludables y ustedes también, muy pronto les estaré contando la historia de la señora y como han quedado al cuidado por unos meses sus animalitos, para que les sirva de reflexión.

Me alegra leer que las cosas están mejorando que Hércules y que la crema haya sido efectiva para el problema que tiene. Espero que en la revisión que tiene dentro de 15 días, todo siga siendo positivo y esto no haya sido mas que una angustia. También espero que el gatito se recupere 💚
