Es la historia de Dam Ye-jin (Chae Won-bin) una mujer que desde pequeña intento llamar la atención de su mamá quien no se encontraba con ella, Dam solo vivía con su papá, pero luego de un tiempo tras descubrir que su mamá era una actriz famosa que no querían que supiera que tenía una hija, decidió trabajar duro para hacerse reconocer y que ella cambiara de opinión de su relación, porque pese a todo era su mamá o al menos eso sentía, hasta que un incidente tras presentar un producto, ya que Dam trabajaba como presentadora de productores, daño no solo la relación que había empezado de nuevo a tener con su mamá sino su propia carrera ya que era un producto de belleza que hizo daño a la piel no solo de personas adultas sino también de niños, un total caos para ella.
Aunque luego de un tiempo Dam sigo siendo presentadora pero de productos para el hogar y otros que no tuvieran que ver con la salud de nadie, para volver a evitar pasar por ese problema, que aunque ella solo lo había promocionado el no saber bien si el producto estaba bien o podía presentarlo para todo el mundo, ps ocasiono tanto mal que hasta pastillas tenía que tomar para dormir, entre todo ello junto a Seo Eric (Kim Bum) un hombre mitad coreano mitad francés, llega de una empresa prestigiosa de cosméticos buscan un ingrediente que le será de utilidad para su nuevo ejemplar, pero para ello necesita la ayuda de Dam para conseguir dicho ingrediente.
Es ahí cuando conoce a Matthew Lee (Ahn Hyo-seop) un hombre inteligente el creador de la crema que causo tal alboroto, quien realmente no fue el causante pero se sentía culpable con ello, que se encerró en el campo cultivando el hongo blanco, el cual es bueno para crear cremas o esencias que sirvan para la salud, aunque a raíz de lo ocurrido se limitaba solo a vender su hongo a otros sin el producir nada en sí, hasta que conoce a Dam, las cosas comienzan a cambiar ya que a pesar de que ella viene por el hongo, realmente sus problemas la están ahogando, así mismo para Matthew por lo que el encuentro de ambos les permitirá entender la situación de cada uno para ayudarse, como también a conocer los sucesos que los arrojaron a ese grave error de la presentación de la crema, como también el amor puede cambiar y sanar heridas que a veces el tiempo no lo hace, ambos tendrán que luchar y aprender a curar su alma para poder salir adelante sin remordimientos.
