With his serious expression, you might think he’s a terrifying boss, but that’s just his personality—he’s not really like that at all.
Ji-Yoon, who wants to grow and improve at work to take her mind off her problems a little—and perhaps, down the road, give love another chance—decides to reach out to Mr. Kang and learn from him, since it turns out their ideas align. Hasta que conoce a Kang Si-woo (Seo In-guk) gerente de la empresa en donde ella trabaja, específicamente de su división quien recién ha regresado de estados unidos luego de estar un tiempo allá mejorando sus estudios y buscando nuevas ideas que innovar en la empresa, es un hombre obsesionado con el trabajo, todo es en base a ello, pero también tiene un detalle es conocido como los tres noes, sin sonrisas, sin gente y sin disculpa, es algo rudo con las personas que se encuentra a su alrededor, es sumamente perfeccionista con lo que hace, y a parte no es de los que sonríe tan fácilmente, con su cara tan seriedad piensas que es un jefe aterrador, aunque realmente es su personalidad, no es del todo así.
Para Ji-Yoon quien desea crecer y mejorar en el trabajo para olvidar un poco sus problemas y quizás más adelante darle la oportunidad a otro amor, decide acercarse al señor Kang y aprender de él, ya que resulta que sus ideas congenian con las que él tiene, aunque en el proceso más que mejorar en el trabajo, surjan sentimientos en la que ambos necesitan para mejorar como personas y alejarse un poco de lo rutinario, ya que ciertamente uno se siente mal, pierde a alguien, tiene otras cosas que hacer pero igual debes ir a trabajar, parar no es una opción, sin embargo, tomarse un tiempo para otras cosas que te guste siempre resulta agradable, ya que si necesitas trabajar para vivir pero no volver el trabajo toda tu vida.
