Hola queridos amigos de @Motherhood, un gusto pasar por acá y en esta ocasión hablando de la última semana de clase de mi hijo y al mismo tiempo su última semana terminando su etapa de preescolar, subiremos a otro nivel lo cual trae emociones, algo de miedo, incertidumbre y alegría, todo a la vez porque iremos a otro lugar también, con nuevos maestros, nuevos compañeros, lo cual espero que sea bueno para él, sobre todo, con ansias de que le guste y todo fluya que es lo más importante.

Esta semana pese al miedo que había de llevarlos por lo sucedido del terremoto, se intentó que al menos ellos pudieran despedirse de su preescolar disfrutando de ciertas actividades que no fueran de los cuadernos y ello, si no más que todo compartiendo un rato con sus compañeros y pasando ratos agradables, ya que varios se irán a otras escuelas, unos pocos si van igual que nosotros, y es por ello que aprovechar ese momento es importante. Esa semana desde actividades como cine, ver películas y comer cotufas hizo que se sintieran como en casa, aunque hubo un momento en el que la caída de la luz lo daño un poco pero igual disfrutaron algo.

Así como actividades de pintar sus camisas, hacer objetos para relajarse o hacer dulces como mini donas, tomarse foto para su diploma, fueron algunas de sus actividades para ir despidiendo esta bonita etapa en donde no solo se buscaba aprender sino también divertirse y relajarse, porque ya luego bueno no es que no se pueda pero hay mayor responsabilidad y más trabajo jeje, así que vale la pena tener su semana relajada y riéndose en ello, aunque mi hijo desde mitad del año escolar le he estado hablando de los cambios que se vienen, hubo días en que me decía que si no podía seguir su maestra siendo la misma, le tomo mucho cariño, aunque lamentablemente no se puede, vendrá otra y a pesar que al principio no lo entendía del todo, ha estado poco a poco asimilándome y con curiosidad de saber cómo será su nueva mae y los compañeros que tendrá.

El despedirse de un lugar donde tuviste tres años aprendiendo sus cosas iniciales y pasando ratos agradables y algunos no tanto pero que ayudaron a crecer y aprender de eso, no es sencillo, y da sentimiento, solo queda continuar y esperar que lo nuevo sea mejor, es lo que uno espera, sobre todo para él, que aunque suele mostrar un carácter fuerte, se lo sensible que es, y sé que su nueva etapa lo sabrá sobrellevar, en eso siento que es mejor que yo jeje, ya en este punto estaría a lagrimas sin parar jeje, y sé que él pese a todo lo toma con calma y aprecio por lo que vivió este tiempo en su escuela y lo que viene sea mejor.

Hello, dear friends at @Motherhood—it’s a pleasure to stop by here. Today I’d like to talk about my son’s last week of school, which also marks the end of his preschool years. We’re moving on to the next level, which brings a mix of emotions—some fear, uncertainty, and joy— all at once—because we’ll be moving to a new place, too, with new teachers and new classmates. I hope this will be a good experience for him, and above all, I’m really hoping he’ll enjoy it and that everything goes smoothly—that’s what matters most.

This week, despite our fears about taking them there because of what happened with the earthquake, we tried to make sure they could at least say goodbye to their preschool by enjoying some activities that weren’t just about their workbooks—and, above all, by spending time with their classmates and having a good time, since several of them will be going to other schools, while a few will be going to the same school as us, and that’s why making the most of that moment is important. That week, activities like going to the movies, watching films, and eating popcorn made them feel right at home, although there was a moment when a power outage put a slight damper on things, but they still managed to enjoy themselves.

Activities like painting their T-shirts, making crafts to unwind, or baking treats like mini donuts, and taking photos for their diplomas were some of the ways they said goodbye to this wonderful stage—one where the focus wasn’t just on learning but also on having fun and relaxing. Because, well, it’s not that you can’t do those things later, but there will be more responsibilities and more work, haha, so it’s worth having a relaxed week and laughing it up, even though I’ve been talking to my son since the middle of the school year about the changes coming up. There were days when he’d ask me if his teacher could stay the same—he’s grown very fond of her—but unfortunately that’s not possible; a new one will come. And even though he didn’t quite understand it at first, he’s been gradually coming to terms with it and is curious to know what his new teacher will be like and who his classmates will be.

Saying goodbye to a place where you spent three years learning the basics and having some good times—and some not-so-good ones, but ones that helped you grow and learn from them—isn’t easy, and it’s emotional. All that’s left is to move on and hope that the new chapter will be better; that’s what you hope for, especially for him. Even though he usually comes across as strong-willed, I know how sensitive he really is, and I know he’ll be able to handle this new phase—in that regard, I feel he’s better than I am, haha; at this point, I’d already be crying nonstop, haha—and I know that, despite everything, he’s taking it in stride and appreciating what he experienced during his time at school, and hoping that what’s ahead will be even better.

Muchas felicidades, que bonito el que hayan podido disfrutar de ese último paseo de grado pues a pesar de todo lo malo debemos seguir agradeciendo por la vida y los niños no deberían estar consientes de la magnitud del desastre más bien con su alegría honrar lo que ya no están.
