I wanted to give notice that after reviewing my own curation rewards after the hardfork with slme outside help because I suck at math, but we came to the conclusion of what I have been reading along what "@antisocialist" has veen trying to warn us all along. Curation is the rewards you get from voting other people's posts and comments.

We found out that the higher a post is being rewarded the less the curators get. We also found out that the higher the vote weight that trumps the rest will receive more than the rest. begs me question a few things but nonetheless, We found it better to not vote up anything above $2-5. As a curator (the one casting off votes) this is ideal. I try to encourage people to also use their moral compass on voting. It's not always about the money. Sometimes people write really well, and their publications may be well neat and organized, but why support voting up fascism for example? anyways, it's your account. do as you please.

Our most enforced community rule is to not plagiarize, scam, spam, etc. Other than that it's a pretty laid back community with drama every now and then.

There is a community called "Foodies for Hive" "Natural Medicine" and others you might be interested in. Some already contains their own front end. I recommend you post using the specific front end. For example, if traveling is going to be the main topic in your post then posting using the travel communities front end would be ideal for reaping higher rewards.
