Convert LTC to HBD, DEC and HIVE fast and easy!

avatar

Yesterday @the-bitcoin-dood did an article exposing his difficulties in being able to exchange LTC for different currencies on Hive. You can read the article here under the title Converting LTC to HBD, DEC, and Hive - What a Pain in the A55!

I wrote him a comment and asked his permission to quote it. I'm going to explain in the quickest and simplest way possible because I think it got too complicated in the process. And how can it be done faster, simpler and cheaper.

He wrote: "First things first, I clicked the "Buy with Crypto" button in the Peakd wallet."

I'm not going to go into this part for two reasons, I don't live in New York and this part seemed easy to you.
Although I think there are more profitable ways to do this, that is with more steps.

He bought 281 HIVE with 1 LTC and said all this;

I click on the deposit button and select the amount of Hive to deposit. I'd love to see a way to deposit HBD directly. (At this point I actually bought Hive in exchange for LTC now I have to convert the Hive I bought back to HBD) Whatever... Am I missing something? Is there a way to transfer HBD directly to LeoDex or TribalDex? Considering it's our stablecoin, you'd actually think all DEX transactions would be in HBD instead of Hive. I'm sure it has something to do with the way the blockchain is set up, but I'd love to hear the reason if anyone has a moment to comment.

I transfer the Hive into LeoDex instantly converting it to swap.hive and begin making my transactions. I buy some DEC to transfer to a friend as a late Xmas gift and I then convert the rest to HBD for trading down the road.

I don't know if in your explanation you confuse swap.HBD instead of HBD but I'm going to assume that you meant HBD.

I give two simple and fast options.

Go to the hive dex from any interface. here from ecency

Go to this website: https://hivehub.dev/market and make the exchange instantly

So you would have the HBD you wanted, fast and simple, just one step.

Then I wanted to buy DEC to send it to a friend. Here apparently errors occurred that can happen in any system, although they are not common.

But I will focus on how he did it and the cost.

Chose Leodex to deposit, it's a great service but not the cheapest.
I would have chosen to deposit Hive this uswap.app is very cheap, sometimes it even pays you.

Then I would have chosen beeswap to buy the DECs in a single click quickly and easily.

Regarding transfer failures between DEC accounts, as I said before, it can happen in any system.

He also asked if HBD could be deposited directly, I understand that to convert the swap.HBD and if there was any system.

The answer is yes and yes. If you go to the swap.oneup-cartel website you can do it as seen here. And it can even be free.

I hope these explanations have helped you see that converting LTC to HBD, DEC and HIVE is easy, simple and cheap.

Greetings to all and I hope I have helped you.

Thanks! I recently managed to send some BTC to my hive account, and now have swap.btc that needs to be converted/traded/swapped. I did all this once with LTC, but forgot how... so your guide is very helpful 👍
