Gold tokenization options that could change the game.

And although my thesis is that Bitcoin will prevail over Gold, I also leave the door open for it to fight for the throne, especially thanks to tokenization. And today I wanted to delve into it by showing the options that currently exist.

The first of them and the pioneer is Pax Gold (PAXG) from Paxos, a company that has been on the market for quite some time and has other products known as stable coins, recently working with Paypal.
As Paxos says on its website "Paxos is a trust and custody company regulated by the New York State Department of Financial Services." This gives it solidity. Using PAXG, apart from having almost all the advantages, also allows you to redeem it for physical GOLD, although I don't think it is a great idea to do so.

The second is XAUt, which is the gold-backed currency of Tether, the parent company of the best-known stablecoin in the USDT market.
The features are identical to PAXG so there is not much to say here.

The main problem with both currently is that they are currencies on the Ether chain and we all know what that means in commissions. So you need a good volume to be able to work with them.
The positive part is that this is starting to change and I have already seen, for example, PAXG in Harmony. I don't think it will take long for them to appear in other chains with more reasonable rates. Who knows if in Hive. Would you like a gold-backed currency on Hive?
